Careful work and skilled workers, but the roof of the box was slightly higher in the middle so that rainwater and truck wash could drain from it. In this way the water will be retained.

This conversion likely proved less than satisfactory for several reasons. First, with only 120 HP, the truck is terribly underpowered even before the box or any payload is added to it. In fact, this truck has less power than my 2004 Honda Civic had. Second, the entire box is of steel construction. No weight saving materials like aluminum or fiberglass were utilized. The box itself likely added thousands of pounds to the weight of the vehicle, as well as raising the center of gravity of significantly and increasing drag significantly. Third, it appears that no upgrades were made to the powertrain, the suspension, the brakes, and the frame to accommodate the extra weight associated with both the box and the payloads it will carry. In true Pakistani fashion, it is only a matter of time before this truck is broken down in the middle of a busy highway because of constant abuse and overloading. Fourth, there are gaps between all of the major panels because of the corrugated steel panels that were used in its construction. This means that the cargo will not be fully protected from the elements, including wind, snow, and rain. Fifth, no additional marker lights and turn signals were added to the box. This means that the shape and position of the box is obscured, especially, at night. The lack of additional lights raises significant safety concerns.
