seeing a lot of these inverted sub setups recently. It creates more airspace in the box due to no magnet displacement but I still prefer the normal mounting style. I like to see the cone move.

I like when you ask what equipment they are running and they turn around and look at their system like they can't remember. If they are anything like me they probably are always swapping and rebuilding this and that. I started with two shallow jl 12's under the seat. Five rebuilds later and now it's 2 15's in a blow thru with no rear seat. But guess what, I just ordered 4 more 15's thinking about walling it up...

I have a big dual 15 box taking up the 3rd row like this in a grand caravan and I would love to run my subs inverted but I have a fear that in a head on someone may get hit with a sub, half a sub or a motor from one or both. That's a lot of weight poking up and even if the screws hold a cast frame can break, and the thoughts that all that heavy ferrite is held together and to the top plate with just epoxy so doesn't make me feel any better. If it was just me hell I have head rests I'd do it but the ol lady and kids go in it so I'll leave em normal for now...
