The wait list for CRS is insane. You can apply to send in your GTR now and expect to wait 5+ years.

Tough choice. I like the customization of BBL but I think I would lean CRS. The Z-Tune aero is just too killer.

I do agree on z tune aero, no beating that. But the mooncraft bumper for BBL is a close second

I’d choose BBL.

Why not just buy an R34 in Japan and take it directly to Yoshida and Mines? Along with an interior restoration wouldn’t that come up to around 200k on top of the donor car… Do you know why going through BBL makes the whole thing cost 400k. Is it from trying to take a profit on the build?
@rhdguys2 ай бұрын
Some of the BBL parts are exclusive and you couldnt get them throigh mines. Not saying that makes it worth the extra money, but exclusivity is desirable.
@MaleantDataSystemsSolutions2 ай бұрын
@@rhdguys True. I hope it’s possible to do a “budget” BBL type build just restoring the chassis, new mines engine and interior and skip the BBL parts… not sure how hard it is to get a car worked on by yoshida or mines these days though. Definitely the dream one day.

America should have taken after England, with RHD traffic....

I'll take the Nismo CRS - a factory-works-tuned, fully-restored, bespoke GT-R built by the absolute best-of-the-best at Nissan in collaboration with each individual customer's input/desires. That said, its been a bit of a disappointment seeing many of the recent CRS builds going to dealerships (Contempo Concept, Garage Defend, Harlow Japan Autos, etc.). The CRS was meant to be the ultimate R34 enthusiast's car, not another impatient, uber-rich, collector's JD-unobtaniu-M trophy. The BBL cars are too much for my taste. Not monetarily, but rather BBL needs to dial down the pretentiously tacky marketing of their "product" and let the ACTUAL LEGENDS who have dedicated their entire lives to innovation, engineering, and preservation shine through. Seeing BBL emblems and logos slathered on every single piece and part of these cars in person was a massive turnoff. The constant force-fed media marketing of these cars over the past year has been equally distasteful. Is it a great car? Absolutely. Just not for me. I would rather do things the hard way and work with these companies myself to create a bespoke build of my own.

I like your perspective. I agree on the accessibility and that it was meant to be driven not collected by the rich. Thanks for the feedback, I hope we get to see your build someday!

@@kendanx I thought the same thing about all the emblems. One in the engine compartment and maybe center console is all that’s needed.

This is a great discussion. But id like to see a variation on tonality. Sometimes lazy voice works, but for extended periods ìts telling my brain its ok to sleep. Sometimes late night dj voice works. And sometimes some excitement in voice. Id like to send mine to gtr pro shop.
