This video is part of the reason I will eventually own a Brinkley. The main reason is the company culture. The fact that the final 25% of the assembly is for QC and error management is amazing. My guess is none of the other RV manufacturers do that level of QC. Well done Josh...well done! wjm

1) One word…… QUALITY! 2) Thank you Brinkley for allowing Josh to make this video. By doing so you are boldly and proudly showing your quality for prospective buyers. 3) Thank you Josh for your time and efforts in producing this project. It’s easy to see that it took a lot of work. 4) To answer your earlier question. YES! I would love to see full in depth videos from every manufacturer on how they build their RV’s. I found this to be very interesting and informative. These videos puts the manufacturers in the spotlight. Those who are confident in theirs builds should not have any trouble with you filming the tour. Those who hesitate or say no…. Well, that there alone should speak loudly of theirs quality, or should I say, lack of and therefore perhaps the consumer should stay clear of purchasing. 5) Josh, you always say that you want people to make their second purchase the first time around. Seems to me, you will save money in the long run following your advice. After watching this video showing their quality; for those who really want to buy and be in this lifestyle, I’d say….. if you buy a Brinkley, it’s one and done. Buy once, you buy for a lifetime. Worth the money spent. 6) Again, Thank you Josh and thank you Brinkley. You are definitely on my potential buy list.

Brinkley is resetting the RV industry and they WILL be my next RV. I overbuild everything in my life and DIY a lot because industry standard often isn't good enough for me. The water shut off valves alone are amazing. My last trip on my voltage, the 2nd bathroom faucet went bad and dumped water all night. I woke up to a huge puddle of water flowing into the kitchen because it overfilled my gray tank and was dumping over onto the floor.... Brinkley speaks to me.

Thank You Josh! I watched this when you first published it. Had a Jayco Pinnacle (21 model) and was not happy with the overall fit and finish and quality. I really liked the way you showed how Brinkley did their builds. So much so, that two and a half weeks ago we took the Brinkley G plant tour in person. We drove just over a thousand miles from home in Nebraska to Goshen because we were so intrigued by what you showed in this video. Needless to say in two days we pick up our 25 G3500 and are trading off the Jayco. We are like kids on Christmas Eve. My wife and I have trouble sleeping cuz we can’t wait to get this Brinkley. Mind you we are in our 60’s and have had an RV of some type for the last 35 years. We both can’t remember when we were so excited about getting another new RV. This video was the extra push we needed to buy our Model G 3500. We are so excited to pick it up in a couple of days. Thank you Brinkley for making a superior product and allowing Josh to put this video out there. We live full time in our RV and travel the country. We have been doing this in our 2022 Solitude 310GK. Don't get me wrong, the Solitude was fine. A few issues, nothing major but the way GD initially responded to the frame flex issues, really rubbed us the wrong way. I want a company that stands behind their product. Let's face it, they are RVs, they are going to have issues when you drive your house down the road at 60 mph. It's the payoff for this lifestyle, but the way Brinkley has tried to offset some of these potential issues really sold us. We wanted a company that was designing their frames differently and ultimately stronger. I think it's great they only churn out about 5 of these a day and focus more on PDI than quantity. Thanks Josh for video and thanks to Brinkley for making a superior product and also for thinking of your employees during the build process.

Hey Uncle Josh, I hope you're having a great day! I'm glad that you have done a factory tour of Brinkley model G toy haulers are made from the steel frame to the finished product! I'm glad that you took us to each station1 through 40 or 42 an I have learned a lot from this video! When you was showing them putting on the roof membrane on an how they do the glue was the right way to do that step! I use to do commercial roofing, an I done a lot of rubber roofs! That is how we done the rubber roofs,we would roll the glue out onto the roof an we put glue onto the rubber roof material then we would slowly roll it out, then once we had it completely done we took a big roller and went back over the roof then we would go an use the rubber flashing on all the pipes an the AC curbs then we used a special sealant on all the seams! I'm going to go back and find all your factory tours that you have done and compare them to the Brinkley factory tour! Thank you Uncle Josh for showing us this video on the Brinkley factory tour and giving us all the steps that they do! Hey Josh! Thank you for this ultra-detailed factory tour. Your usual attention to detail is unmatched. In 20 chapters, Brinkley has over 70 glows (things they do well), but as you said, they're always looking to improve, so I wanted to point out a grow. At 57:26, it may be better to have the worker use an extendable grab hook to secure the red hooks to the trusses. Yes, you pointed out he's not stepping on the paneling, which would be worse, but by their exacting standards, every little bit helps. Not having to venture onto the roof at any point is better than the chance of stumbling and damaging the finished roof unit. Right?

Great video Josh. In my view Brinkley is like a huge slap across the face of much of the RV industry that keeps building units of poor quality. Are Brinkley’s more expensive? Yes. But it’s not like a quality RV is a million dollars or something insane. And with their units incorporating as standard so many of the “upgrades” a lot of us install in our RVs the true price gap is even less. Just take the roof alone with that 25 year sealant. Why the rest of the industry insists on using a sealant that has to be inspected every 90 days is just utterly insane. I bet if we made senior execs at these companies personally inspect the roof of an RV they own every 90 days including in the dead of winter they’d do something about it. Instead we get excuse after excuse about how it’s too expensive or too hard. What BS. And as long and comprehensive and totally awesome as this video is you don’t even cover everything! Like the construction of their drawers. Most RVs even high end diesel pushers have drawers that are butt jointed and stapled with thin wood. It’s literally the weakest possible joint that could be done and the thin drawer bottoms often start coming out. But bit Brinkley. They use dovetail joints and thicker woods making their drawers. It’s exactly what you want for a drawer loaded up with pots and pans rolling down the road. And Brinkley is doing it.

I do NOT know how I missed this video coming out!!! Yes, I would love to see the lamination process. I think that would be really cool. Also would love to know your opinion on Azdel vs fiberglass. Heck I would watch a video just on that subject!😂😂. Is Brinkley using the same TPO membrane for the roof that everyone else does? Thank you for a great video. I have been waiting for this one, and somehow missed it. I don’t think I want to know how many hours you have in this one, but I sure do appreciate you! #Nerdherd

I'm sorry sorry i'm not trying to be difficult but at 31:40 the video is looking at tires and there are no hatches really visible

I can see the garage on a separate duct system but the bedroom and living are should be so at night you can run the living ac to cool the bedroom and not have to listen to the ac right over your head.

At 1:19 minutes, I read the banner on the "Core Values." Now that a good company statement.

Dang, slide topper option on the Gs? Picking up our Z2900 #3000 in a couple weeks and getting dealer to install slide toppers, Gen-Y Gooseneck, generator, 2 lithium batteries and 3000W inverter. Could have saved some time and money if these were factory options. Great video Josh, can you do an updated one for the Z line?
@JoshtheRVNerd9 ай бұрын
Factory tours like this are a huge undertaking. Not much has changed since I did my first Z walkthru and the updates that have happened are reflected largely here in this G video

Do you plan to do an updated tour with showing the FBP process?

These factory tours are a huge undertaking so I don’t have the cha. E to get that many or make revised footage Perhaps at some point I’ll make it happen but it’ll be some time

Excellent video Josh! Thank you. I watched the entire video with the hope of hearing that a Brinkley travel trailer toy hauler is in the works. Sadly that didn’t happen. Brinkley, can you tell me if a travel trailer Model G is coming anytime soon? Unfortunately the fifth wheel Model G is out of the reach of my budget and instead of lowering our standards and settling for a lesser fifth wheel toy hauler, we will happily wait for a Brinkley travel trailer that fits our needs. I can only afford one or the other. We plan on making our purchase by the end of this year. We need a travel trailer toy hauler that will carry my 1,240 lb. three wheel Harley-Davidson and 100 lb. mattress for Happi-Jack and still maintain a separate (not open) garage with a small half bath. I’ve seen several runner ups lately with 2000 lb garage CCC that meet the bill, but they don’t have the Brinkley quality that we want. My fingers are crossed while I wait for your answer. Thank you.👍🏼😎

Hi josh. We have a rpod 193. We yave done a few mods to it. Nothing that cant be put back to the original. We are wanting to get something bigger and do a trade in on it. Will the mods affect it at the rv dealership?
@JoshtheRVNerd9 ай бұрын
It's all subject to what you've done. You've described it like nothing invasive so it's probably fine

Thanks Josh love the videos. Hey I have a G4000 and the back heat pump won’t start it sounds like maybe it is seized. But It is not as the A/C works fine. Just the heat pump will not kick on. When I turn it off it does run the fan as to cool it, I think for like 30 seconds. The other 2 work great. Is there a reset or something i can check? Thanks guys

Apologies I'm not well versed on diag'ing things like that over a quick text communication and don't know that I'm the best source for you here

Are you saying the Z’s are not built for the GenY? And yes, seeing the lamination process would be interesting. It’s also nice to see the workers when they allow it.
@JoshtheRVNerd8 ай бұрын
sorry if I wasn't clear Z's do not offer Gen Y from the factory but are gen-y approved
