Gotta be honest I just got one and so far I absolutely love it, my elite series 2 broke after 4 months and Microsoft refused to warranty, get this over those other overpriced pro controllers, by far the best bang for buck

I got the pro version. If you like the Elite Series 2 this is the closest to an Elite Series 3 we have. It feels more like a standard XSX controller in the hands which I love. Asa said in this review the back button placement is also similar to the Elite Series 2 where the fingers naturally hover over each back button so you will actually use all 4. In cod I use the right upper and right lower button for couch and jump respectively. Its faster than having one action on each side for me.

6:06 this sold me over the pro model. The pro needs a phone app, pretty ridiculous imo. I don’t care about a wire I prefer them anyway. Gonna be picking this one up, thanks for the review!

I avoided the wolverine controller forever, choosing the xbox elite instead.... And then... I used one, I now own thr ultimate, the V2, and the V3. Absolutely the best controller on the market. The top two extra buttons are truly game changers.

I sent my tournament edition back due to the fact the thumbsticks are not removable. So keep that in mind when ordering. They don’t really make it clear on their website.

Just bought this after my ps5 controller got stick drift, I play on pc and the paddles and trigger locks have been amazing. Still got my og phantom kontrol freeks for cod ghosts, fit perfectly!

How’s the deadzones? The v2 had built in high deadzones that are brutal for Fortnite.

You are able to adjust the deadzones through the app, it comes with a 3% deadzone out of the box, but I was able to put it on 0% right away

How are the accidental activations on the back buttons? The V2 chroma had the buttons out of the way so i could grip the controller however i wanted and just extend my finger slightly if i want to use the back buttons. Maybe they could have moved them closer but right on the grip seems like if you flinch or adjust your grip those buttons are getting pressed...which sucks for a fast paced fps.

@@kadedone hey !! For me , i haven’t accidentally hit the back paddles . Although at the moment I don’t have anything currently bound to the bottom two paddles . So maybe I am hitting but not realising . I have however noticed hitting the claw button by accident , I’ve moved my Weapon swap onto that button in shooters . So I have found it a little cramp up there with the trigger bumper and claw buttons . I have never used the V2 so not sure how it feels compared to the V3. Sorry I couldn’t help more

My elite died on me a year or so ago been playing pubg so i don't need the elite so much but wanting to play new cod i gotta get another one since i have a horrible habit of clenching the right stick click with fast paced shooters so a regular contoller won't work think i'am going to get this i don't mind wired i'am pretty close to my tv so doesn't bother me

@@Specky_Bam yeah , I feel that is a good comparison, I used to like putting more tension in the sticks on my elite. So that is probably why I tend to find other controllers a little loose.

My right trigger has broken twice now and my left paddle on my first one snapped while playing one night. Never dropped and looked after it so i can only say poor build quality from my experience. looking for something new now and just refuse to drop nearly 200 on pads anymore

@@rayandegnah I think you are wrong it does have aim assist in halo infinite but I feel like the Hall effect does struggle with infinites sandbox. When I play call of duty controller feels fine it’s just on Hal that I struggle which is my main game. Btw if you use the wireless dingle clean ur USB ports bcs u will get missed inputs on aiming with dirt. I cleaned my sub ports and now the witless dongle feels like being wired just a fyi

Great review but I'm not gonna buy a corded controller. I'm a casual who plays 10' away from my tv so I am only interested in wireless. I currently play on a scuff which is OK but needs some improvements. I love the feeling and custom options for the elite 2 but the issues I've had aren't worth buying another. 1st had stick drift out of the box and 2nd one had multiple unresponsive buttons.

@@vizhen818 I honestly did not like the triggers. The flare out too much making the grip larger than it has to be (for me) Also the fact that you cannot change the joystick height (swap) for different sizes I also did not like how much tension the dead zone had of the joystick. I'm not sure if it's a hall effect thing or what, but there is tension in the middle of both joysticks. I also already have a PS5 and PS4 remote from AimControllers. I wanted to try out the Wolverine V3 for its $100 price tag. i was like, meh. so i got my money back. I gave it three days...im assuming had i kept it longer, i would of developed the right muscle memory for the controller. so its just personal choice. its not a bad controller.

What’s the Aim controllers likes pal? I paid a fortune for the scuff envision pro..6 months later it’s absolutely trash..paddle has snapped, RT button is temperamental..and it constantly keeps turning its self off..so looking for something new

@ the paddles on the AimControllers are top tier. AimController always have promotions going on to save you money. Lifetime warranty (after 90-days, u gotta pay shipping) they use the base of the OEM controllers and then add features. I’ve got two of them already. Might buy another one during Black Friday. Just to have another one. Hope this helps.

i bought and returned this controller, felt cheap and light weight, all buttons felt amazing though. Used Anti MicroX to bind keyboard buttons to the back buttons. Downsides however, the controller caused my hand to cramp and every second i wasn't actively using the controller, i was massaging my hands. Also, i didn't love the placement of the back buttons, i found myself accidently pressing them a lot, but the extra shoulder buttons were great

Nice review and nice to see someone playing Infinite as well (good jump from mud to C plat btw) I've gone from Elite 2, Scuf Instinct pro, Vader 4 pro, Gamesir Kaleid, KK3, this Razor 3 TE, Blitz2, to finally settling on the Apex 4 (original and wukong edition) for Halo which I've been playing non stop since CE at a good lvl (currently onyx) it's by far the best controller I've ever used. I saw Royal2 using it in London. You can get an adapter to use it on the Xbox, I play on PC but it's fine with the Brook wingman XB3 adapter

Waiting for 2 controllers , I’m new to co trollers coming from mnk, this controller is better compared to Xbox series 2 in regards to latency, I can tell a difference on pc both plugged in. I bought 2 more to test Flydigi Vader and hexagon phantom with the new sticks .

I have both and prefer razer feels a bit more comfy the gamesir is a bit smaller than even a normal Xbox controller razer is slightly bigger and the paddle placement for me is better as well as you get 4 with a clicky dpad as well gamesir dpad is not the same as face buttons. Also forgot to mention mouse click paddles and triggers with short clicky triggers

Hey how’s it going? I also play halo infinite ranked im onyx, I own the wolverine v3 pro wireless sine a week and 2 days ago, and my usdue is I have a hard time aiming. I tried both eired and wireless and I still find it inconsistent. My settings are 0 deadzones, double deadzones checked off, standard. Tell me if you also find it weird aiming. I have to switch to my g7 se or my pro potentiometer controllers to win my games. Please give me your feedback

@@Mrchiefsaygg hey how’s it going !! Firstly unfortunately I don’t play at the same level you do . I usually finish a season at around D2 or D3 so don’t face the same competition you do. I wouldn’t say I’ve found it weird , but it has definitely taken time to get used to. I does feel very different compared to my SCUF. Could it be that you are so used to the feel of your potentiometer pads ? I must admit I was contemplating moving back to my SCUF last session after a couple bad piv’s but then I go double positive next game with the V3. I’ve put it down to needing to dial it in to what feels right

@@Gavlaaar88 thing is I also own the g7 se which uses Hall effect too but different. Wolverine uses k silver Hall effect sticks I believe and they don’t feel as good as g7. I also have the inconsistent good games and bad games., idk if it’s bcs im not used to these sticks or if the aiming is just inconsistent with this controller

I wrote to Razer customer service that they should implement more updates to the app software and add more deadzones and aiming curve response. I think this problem only applies to those that seek precision aiming which this controller is supposed to do it is meant for competitive play

So it's £100 for a the same performance on XBOX as a standard Xbox controller, slow, mouse clicks makes no difference if the board speed is locked, I really think it's needs to be emphasised controllers like this, scuff are SLOW on the Xbox, your better with the gamesir, that razer isn't even in the top 30 controllers
