Very interesting. I like this review. You play the sims like i do. As a casual.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed! Haha I wish I could be a ‘more serious’ sims 4 player who can get invested in a save for long stints - but at the moment, the game just doesn’t capture me in that way if that makes sense 🙃 But I’m happy I could give a review which speaks to your play style ☺️

That’s so fair! I do love playing challenges like rags to riches and stuff like that but I’m bad at completing them 🙈 I decided to keep things simple for this review so I could fully focus on the gameplay 🥰 also from your other comment - I use an elgato wave 3 microphone and record with a pillow under the mic try dampening echo (sooo professional 😂) thanks again for your lovely comments!!🧡

The town hall element is interesting. Wish more maps had town halls. Such a useful feature that’s isolated to one random pack, a major annoyance to Sims 4 big picture. Still haven’t bought this pack, I proably will but right now not hyper motivated to have it like “today”. It won’t change my daily play enough at the moment and I know I’ll have to commit to making over my generic lot trait cemeteries once I get it. Which I am excited to have, but not a a job I have time for right now. I really want heirlooms, cemeteries, and wills. Don’t care about being a reaper or playing as a ghost. But don’t know I am so motivated to pay EP price for that. I kinda like the rabbit hole career as you described it. Maybe cause as a family player, I like rabbit hole careers that leave me some time for family play and doesn’t feel too all consuming where you don’t have time to say help kids with milestones and homework.

Hey Dawn, hope you’re well! Thanks for watching 🥰 I agree about the town hall element: I really wished the devs would decide whether or not they would consistently implement features like this! Such a valid approach to taking to buying the pack too: I wouldn’t have purchased it this early if I wasn’t planning on making content on it! If your not buzzing about every feature, definitely wait to pick it up when it’s heavily discounted down the road! I also should have considered your viewpoint on the undertaker career: the lesser level of involvement is great if you are playing in bigger houses. I guess I was very microscopically focused on it for this review 😅 thanks again for commenting!

@@YasminsCorner ❤️ Glad that perspective helped. I play a lot of story telling custom careers especially for secondary household members (as I like to call them) so sometimes its good to just be able to say Dad’s a Carpenter but not have to do much with him. In a way its good pack balance to have a minimal involvement career and an active one. They got a lot right with this pack, but like you I am like ‘now can we make this a consistent effort with EPs!’

Ah okay, I’m very glad to hear that the less hands-on aspect of the career could actually be a benefit for players who lean towards your play style! I guess I don’t often get to the point where my households are very full in sims 4 😅 but yes again: fingers crossed for more consistency in quality going forward for sims 4 packs!!!
