I have built a turbo hot side before by modifying the OEM manifolds. In this episode I attempted to build full exhaust manifold from scratch.

If your motor moves so much, you should watch out for those ( 7:18 ) welding spots breaking. But still this is very very impressive :) I really admire your defication and mental endurance :)

That's actually pretty close to the engine that I'm not to worried about it. I'm more concerned with the front drivers side since its further out=more leverage

Are you planning on fixating the engine more to tze car, it do you want it to have a little room for swinging? Maybe you could build some kind of light frame work that does not connect to the car, but to the engine, to reduce the lever forces on the outer parts. But i am not a car guy, so what do i know... :D

Going with a solid mount. I may redo the engine crossmember all together. I'm getting way too much flex. I though going factory mount was a good idea to limit vibration but regretting that decision 🤣

@@MarnellBalmeo Guess thats part of gaining experience, although this really sucks. But look at what you archieved so far. Utterly impressive! I doubt this will be a challenge for you after all :) What do you do for a living that you have that much knowledge about motorworks? Or is it all self tought?

I realize that this is a older video but maybe you will see it lol but I have to ask why in the world didnt you go duel compound setup??? That would have been so sick but this is still an awesome build man

Compound is just more complex and sounds like a pain to control. Not to mention the amount of heat generated from compressing twice. I didn't see any advantages from it so didn't go for it.

In California, not sure what people charge for this. It's a lot of time to setup. This is actually the easiest part, getting everything else lined and working is the fun part lol
