SoundCore 2/ Soundcore Select is also a great thing to buy... Mine lasted quite good for more than 3 years and now i get distorted sound for last 10 months. I can remember i used to throw it into my bed every now and then... :(

Soundcore bluetooth speaker prices have gotten pretty ridiculous. Quality products, but they are asking JBL and Bose prices these days. Their high prices are actually driving sales of W-KING and Tribit off the charts. Nice (and a bit crazy) review. Bless up!

I just bought the SoundCore and I'm a bit disappointed, I'm sure the speaker is perfectly capable of reaching lower frequencies, seems to me that it is being artificially limited via DSP or crossover, there are smaller speakers with better bass.

@New Stuff TV Does this one, the Soundcore 3, pushes the volume all the way up when it connects to a bluetooth device by any chance? I had an Alpatronix AX410 and I always hated how it pushed the volume all the way up when connecting to my cellphone. There were instances where I wanted it start the music at the same volume level I had it in my cellphone but, it never did that, it always blasted the volume all the way up at start up everytime it linked to my cellphone. Does this one does the same thing?

I know I'm late but one thing I will say that is a huge downside IMHO of the Soundcore 3 is that the AUX port was removed. Soundcore 1 + 2 had an AUX port along with a micro-USB port for charging, and as much as I'm glad to see USB C on the Soundcore 3, I think it's a huge miss to not keep the AUX port.

I dropped one of my soundcore life note e earbuds into a 5 gallon bucket of lacquer. Fished it out, cleaned it with acetone. Still charges & works 3 months later. Some of the plastic holding the rubber ear tip dissolved but super glue fixed that small issue. Tough buggers.

Could you please tell Anker and just about all other makers that if they would just add a usb media and or sd readers that they would make a hell of a lot more sales?! I mean not everybody wants to or even CAN use buetooth! I have the anker mini and the D8 mini that have those features but it needs to be a feature in the bigger players.
