Buju Banton Speaks For The First Time Since Return - Onstage March 14 2020

Within a year of his release Buju Banton after 10 years in U.S. custody has reclaimed his place in the upper echelon of Dancehall and Reggae. In March of 2019 Banton's 'Long Walk To Freedom' concert in Kingston, not only made history by raming Jamaica's National Stadium to capacity he also made an epic return to live performance.
The Freedom Walk went on to sell out venues across the Caribbean, Europe and Africa and before 2019 was out Buju Banton conquered perhaps the biggest fete in his walk, that of making hit records once again.
BUt how did he preserve himself, his talent, his soul over all hese years.
We had the privilege of a one on one with Buju Banton and though he understandably had no desire to recall those dreaded years of his life, he was however very direct in speaking of his preservation and return, the state of Jamaica's music, his relentless passion to raise the standard of the music and so much more.

He always said he was innocent but he was an jamaican in America with a small chance to win, when people hate people they can do anything to hate more. Let's look at him to day and see the change he make in his life, he learn from his prison experience... If you hate him or you don't like him then leave him alone.
