Topeng Bujuh
Topeng mean mask
It is called bujuh because the shape of its mouth is called bujuh/munju. The bujuh mask is also known as the Munju Mask, the Jago Mask, the Monyer Mask and many other names. This mask is like a clown, his figure is cheerful and entertaining, just like the Kenyung Manis Mask (however, the Kenyung Manis mask has a shy character) and the Bancuk/Penamprat Mask (the shape is similar to a bujuh mask but has teeth that seem to express anger and an aggressive character)
The bujuh and bancuk masks use gamelan which is similar to a keras mask while the kenyung manis mask(kenyung manis=sweet smile) uses gamelan which is similar to tua mask
In ceremonial masks (wali masks) or pajegan masks, the bujuh mask is shown third after the tua mask and the keras mask. Then after the bujuh mask, it continues with the masks of penasar, wijil, etc. which enter the core of the story and end with the mask of sidakarya
