I live 15 mins from this masjid and it’s actually close to $30 million. Also it was one man who funded the entire masjid and unfortunately he passed away 6 months after the masjid was completed Allah yerhamoo🤲🏼Great video🥰

Ma shaa Allah Texas as a state has the largest Muslim population in North America. Dallas Forth Worth area has large Muslim community and more important many mega large masjids Ma shaa Allah. Lot of Arabic and Islamic schools. It has no state income tax and strong economy and job market. It makes it great to raise a family and children. Alhamdulillah

That’s one of the best sisters areas I’ve seen. You get a direct beautiful view of the chandelier and those praying below, and you get to see your children studying or playing basketball from that area. MashAllah, that is very well designed 💙

I visited the masjid couple of months back on a Saturday and believe me I felt very sad while in there and after I came out. I have heard that Only a handful of people go to this mosque for prayers as the locality is predominantly non Muslim and there are so many options in Dallas. I visited just after Asr and it was past the Jamaa time. There was pin drop silence inside the building. The only other person was a security guard. I really hope the masjid will attract more people and parking lot will be packed one day Insha Allah.

Even though they r built by immigrants, I think mosques doesn't have to copy paste middle eastern, Asian or African architectural styles in NorthAmerica or Europe. Local architects should have played a role in designing mosques to represent American style here. That would help other communities to feel that they also own it and are part of it. Inclusivity and integration is what we should work on.
