Bukit Panjang New LRT Train Lifting Up to Tracks | Alstom Innovia APM 300 C801B in Singapore

The long awaited Alstom Innovia APM 300 C801B, the third generation LRT Train for the Bukit Panjang LRT has finally arrived in Singapore and has been lifted up to the tracks for testing to commence!

The Alstom Innovia APM 300 (C801B) is a rubber-tyred automated people mover (APM) train to be introduced on the Bukit Panjang LRT (BPLRT). These third-generation light rail vehicles are capable of operating in single and double car formations, and were initially slated to enter service in 2021.
The procurement of these trains forms part of a wider overhaul of the Bukit Panjang LRT network. Under a S$344 million contract awarded to Bombardier in 2018, the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) would carry out a CBTC resignalling upgrade, refit second-generation C801A trains with CBTC, upgrade existing power rails, and supply 19 new trains which are slated to replace first-generation C801 trains which have been in service since 1999.
Trains can be formed of either one car, or two cars coupled together. Every car is identified by a three-digit number, from 133 to 151. All vehicles are built by CRRC Puzhen Bombardier Transportation Systems Co., Ltd. at their Wuhu Plant.

Is really coming to our Bukit Panjang LRT train since Bukit Panjang LRT have 2 Gen for LRT train now is coming the 3 Gen LRT..This bukit Panjang LRT was released Fed 1999 maybe...But they would keep running for The 1st Gen LRT train for bukit Panjang LRT? Explain it.

In 2030s, C801A will replaced by C801C trains, I love C801B trains because of reliability, please dont preserved this stupid c801 train, because they make not nice train, i want c801b pls, i want all 19 c801 trains to scrap instead of preserved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Although the new LRT trains is good, but unlike our new NSEWL trains, I am not very excited for it. The line is quite troublesome for me and I prefer to take the trains on the SPLRT or NSEWL as both are much more reliable and smoother rides.

The c801B have a history, the C801B was a people mover when it's long with 5 cars the time that the people send to Singapore because it's old so we build again to make c801B people mover in Singapore

@@SGrailadventure2004 ikr...i think back then they didnt really planned out how the tracks were to be build, the rolling stocks and the terrain. As for NSEWL, i think mainly the reason why it used to breakdown alot is due to the lack of maintanence by SMRT Ex- CEO back in 2013. Hoping to see BPLRT improve, not sure if those c801b will help due to the terrain. Its honestly would be better if they ripped it down & build a system like the lrt system in Sengkang/Punggol but not sure if can once again due to terrain. It also wont be feasible too in cost. As for having just a bus service replacing the bplrt....like lta said, the road might not be able to handle the demand. Edit: Maybe Except C151A, nowdays this train is breaking down the most like wtf...its like 2011-2015 again😂
