The 'ud blends well with the guitars. Surprising, but yet it shouldn't be surprising. BRAVO!

shouldn't be that surprising. they coexisted centuries ago in Andalusia. Ziryab was born in Mosul Iraq but died in Cordoba Spain.

@@MohammedYASSINE I always heard that the techniques used in gypsy flamenco music were attempts at emulations of instruments like the Oud and other Arabic instrumentation. The Oud sounds right at home with this music.

@@VTEC313 Yes the famous "Alzapua" thumb-stroking technique comes from an Andalusi Oud technique using a reesha (the Oud pick) or a feather.
