I find this watch strangely attractive. Much better looking then the Royal Oaks and especially the Nautilus's. It's almost too thin though, just seems like it might be too fragile for an everyday wear.
@AbdulRWatches5 жыл бұрын
I think this watch might be a future icon, especially with how thin and flat it is. If I had the chance to get one, I would go for this one or the chronograph dual time 2019 Basel world edition.

@@donjuan150 I think it looks incredible, but it doesn't lend itself to bling, I don't think you would be able to cover the damn thing in diamonds & precious stones the way you can a Royal Oak. You're right though, people with taste will appreciate this style as time passes.

@@jeffreyblue627 Hi Jeffrey, nice I really want to try it on, I think this watch is definitely an underrated sports model. Especially with the steel version as it is 100WR as well.
@terryc64205 жыл бұрын
People keep comparing this watch to the Royal Oak, and I always thought that's not fair due to its lack of lume and only 30m WR. It's not sports watch while the RO is sort of one. But then, I look at both of their design vision, and I realize they both share the same audacious philosophy. The RO came up with a rough and tumble steel sports watch that cost more than a gold watch, and dared people to not love it. Bulgari turned the notion of a luxury men's watch completely on its head by making a superior thin movement, then wrapped it in a grey, flat, thin case with absolutely no bling, and wears more like a tattoo than a watch. Audacious, both of these companies.

Maybe this watch fits TM or BG. Speaking as someone with a Jason/C'Q-type physique, it's definitely not for me.

The limited edition of this with the blue hands looks a lot nicer. With the monotone of the rest of the watch, the hands really can be an accent of color that sort of makes the watch pop. I'd seriously wonder what this would look like in high polish like what Grand Seiko can do with their titanium watches.

Tim, is this finish more scratch resistant than the sandblasted steel 30m WR model?

I love my Octo Roma 2-tone, but my problem with the Finissimo is it can't be worn below the wrist bone. I just tried on the Piaget Altiplano 900P though and that's just 3.65mm thick and perfectly wearable. And who needs a skeleton when the entire mechanism is scattered around the dial? Quite stunning, and makes the Finissimo look like a Deepsea 😁
@einfussganger3 жыл бұрын
I have no idea what "below the wrist bone" means. Do you mean closer to the fingers where the wrist pivots?
@davidjb36713 жыл бұрын
@@einfussganger That's correct, with the watch crown near or sometimes lightly touching the back of the hand.
@einfussganger3 жыл бұрын
@@davidjb3671 To me that means loosely worn, sloppy or floppy. I could never wear mine that way. That conjures up images of balding, overweight, middle-aged guys with too much cologne in the casino with no clue how to size a Jubilee bracelet. LOL.
@davidjb36713 жыл бұрын
@@einfussganger No, you're missing the point. If you wear a watch with a narrower strap it can fit nicely between the bone and the wrist joint, and you can wear it as tightly as you like. But with very broad bracelet like the Oxto Finissimo it's simply too wide to fit there. I'm 6' with 7.5" wrist and can wear most watches with bands up to 22mm wide this way, but maybe it wouldn't work so well for someone with smaller wrists.
@BelieveTheHype7775 жыл бұрын
This specific model is very monotone and dull in real life. Problem is, although it will fit a small wrist, the face is very very broad and the bracelet is very wide, taking up significant wrist real estate. Also, although the ultra-thin movement is a great feat in engineering and to be commended, it is very fragile and more prone to breaking vs a more robust movement. This watch will be an icon for Bvulgari, but it simply isn't for me. Great video as always, though!

I was in Paris and almost bought one from an AD. It really is a cross between a sport/dress watch, but really serves neither purpose. Instead, I purchased a Rolex Cellini date with the blue face and I’m glad I did.
