They stand so differently on the ground from most teams. There isn't enough confidence in their eyes, yet they go out there with extreme levels of pure professionalism and almost a sense of duty. Incredibly deserved first place. Wishing them a lot more gold medals. Still re-watching this in 2015... one of my all time fav.

The commentator is Paloma Del Rio, a great one who knows very well everything about this sport and she said she was so happy to see again how Bulgaria was getting the gold being faithful to its own legendary school and facing the ex-USSR block (Russia, Belarus, Ukraine) ... along with her was Almudena Cid, a spanish rythmic champion who was totally agree about sharing happiness for the bulgarian triumph. Such an exercise, virtuous, elegant, risky and so dynamic as the bulgarian school always exhibited.

Como raras veces ocurre, el panel de jueces de Montpellier 2011 fue muy objetivo con la labor que le fue asignada. En Moscú casi siempre ganan las rusas, en Minsk las bielorrusas, en Pesaro lo hace Italia, en Kiev casi nunca fallan las ucranianas, en Beijing 2008 metieron en el pódium a como dé lugar a las chinas… etc.

Soy fan de la escuela rusa, sus modismos, estilos y gran nivel técnico pero el sol no se puede ocultar con un dedo y las búlgaras estuvieron definitivamente superiores en ejecución que es la baza de la rítmica. Hay que ser objetivos, la historia ni la fama ayudan en un deporte en el que un mal paso te cuesta varias décimas y lo que vale es el mérito técnico de la rutina que hoy presentas no la que hiciste hace un mes así hayas obtenido la medalla de oro.

Como dijo Paloma del Río “Bulgaria ha mantenido la calma durante todos estos años ante el atosigamiento de Rusia y satélites (Bielorrusia, Ucrania) y se han mantenido fieles a los lineamientos de su escuela”. Bronce en la general, bronce en el ejercicio de 5 pelotas y medalla de oro en el ejercicio de 3 cintas y 2 aros. Un resultado más que satisfactorio.

Bulgaria fue sin lugar a dudas el mejor conjunto en la cita francesa, además de ser el único que no presentó fallos en la ejecución de sus rutinas. La expresión corporal de las gimnastas extraordinaria, el montaje coreográfico de una limpieza admirable, un merito técnico más que sobresaliente, el grado de dificultades del ejercicio resuelto de forma impecable y sorprendente (como el lanzamiento del aro con el pie de extremo a extremo del tapiz, sin que la gimnasta receptora se moviera).

La gimnasia rítmica es un deporte de apreciación visual, todo entra por los ojos, pero últimamente se estaba convirtiendo en una competencia descarada en la que los equipos locales ejercían un dominio no siempre justificado. Esperemos que en Londres 2012 el jurado calificador siga la senda de la justicia de la ciudad francesa, otorgándole los honores al equipo que merecidamente sea el portador de las medallas.

Leo mucho sobre si Rusia no falla, que ganan porque Rusia falla, la realidad es que si no fallaran no se sabria la nota, porque es algo que no paso, punto. Las Rusas son excelentes, pero otras selecciones ya se formaron mas que bien y como dijo Paloma, "ya no necesitan del fallo de Rusia", lo cual es verdaderamente cierto,y si falla tanto es porque obviamente no son en "conjunto" tan buenas como el resto por el momento, la rutina muuuy dificil lo que sea, pero fallan,ojala les salga bien en 2012

@ivangtoful Tenés toda la razón. Los demás equipos ganan solo porque Rusia comete fallos. Pero si ninguno de los equipos fallara, Rusia gana porque arriesga más y sus ejercicios son más difíciles. Bulgaria tiene una gimnasia hermosa (a mí en lo personal me encanta), pero jamás pueden compararse al nivel de las rusas. Tampoco Italia, equipo que aburre y no presenta nada interesante. Es una lástima que estas gimnastas rusas no tengan tanta experiencia, eso es lo que las está afectando u_____u

@ivangtoful La cuestión no es que si Rusia es mejor que Bulgaria o viceversa o que Italia no arriesgue mucho como manifiestas en tu opinión (que no comparto), el hecho es que Rusia falló y por eso no estuvieron en el pódium mientras que las búlgaras sacaron un ejercicio impecable y por ello están donde están. La rítmica es un deporte como el fútbol, de nada sirve cuantos títulos tengas si al salir al campo te tiras el peor partido.

@senasil Eso que mencionas es bastante cierto. En todo lo que tengo de ver el ejercicio de aro con cintas de Rusia NUNCA les ha salido limpio. Siempre tienen un fallo. Creo que las antiguas generaciones de Rusia sí podrían realizar bien este ejercicio que es bien complicado, pero las actuales rusas lamentablemente no tienen la capacidad de ejecutarlo en forma correcta. Creo que deberían disminuir un poco la dificultad y hacer una excelente ejecución. Saludossss.
