In my first germany game, me with half an hour on hoi4 got captured by france 2 months after starting the war, forgetting about the manigot line. I remember spending hours on figuring out strategies and stuff, learning new things...

@@yoavroten In my first germany game, I didnt know what good templates were so I just built the starting infantry templates and no medium tanks. I got annoyed when I couldn't break through like a dumbass, but now capitulating the benelux and France is a cakewalk for me. Good times

@@yoavroten My first hoi4 game(which was Germany) I manually justified on Czechoslovakia, declared war in 1936, and i didn't put my army on the entire frontline, so the czechs just walked into germany, and by the time i tried to fix it, it was far too late. I then decided that it would perhaps be best to watch a guide to the game rather than going in blind as I do with most other games.

Dude, I had the ideal Austria Hungary game. Unification Referendum succeeded, Bohemia returned to the crown, and Germany went with the Kaiser. The only problem was, France went communist, Britain went communist, and Spain went communist, so the Central Powers got ass-blasted.

Ok, so, a comment for future Bulgaria runs with this DLC's focus tree: Integrate Zveno first, instead of the National Social Movement. Those guys can give you a civil war if you don't destroy/integrate in time, sooooooo it's safer to do Zveno first, then anything else. (Also, keep in mind, that when you support the IMRO organizations instead of condemning them, you can still pressure the UK for rearmament. By improving relations at the right time, you will be able do Fast Rearmament...in like, 3 months at most.)

Eh tht one is alright. The way i run it is pick decisions to destroy the socialist until you get the decision to get rid of em, run down the facsist tree and start the civil war, refuse army restrictions, destroy the socialist and then do whatever else with the rest of the factions now that ur fascist, get fate of the balkans. I usually like to go to war so if greece went republic justify and wage war on them to get them sweet factories and resources, then wait to see what the other balkans do. Kind of hard to deal with the other balkan countries bc they are guaranteed. So either wait for axis or try and puppet them quickly

One thing I recently noticed about accumulating war score is that you get A LOT more war score by attacking victory points with enemy troops in them than just by walking into empty tiles. I wanted to try how farmable this is, so after forming Leo Belgicus with Netherlands and steamrolling France alongside Germany I landed in northern Scotland (as you do :D ) and pushed southwards. I stopped just before Liverpool and Manchester to let the British get some troops into these cities and after several months of attacking and retreating from the strategic cities of Liverpool and Manchester I managed to acquire about 70% warscore. I could get a lot more, the Germans were not interested in "helping" with my invasion, but I was afraid that the USA would join the Allies. I think that this is the reason why Germany always gets so much warscore in the war against the USSR, as they fight in the western part of the country, where there are a lot of cities with a lot of Russians in them :)

Taureor, i have formed Arabia as fascist Iraq. With all DLCs except La Resistance and Battle for the Bosporus. Going civwar, conquer Saudi, Yemen, and Oman. Join Japan and conquer China, going to war with Axis, and also improve relations with other nations so that they would agree to lendlease when you request them. When you have enough troops, declare war to Allies and steamroll to Marrakech. Declare on Spain when you are near Spanish Africa, and form Arabia. Would not ask you to do it, already did it with my own strategy.

The non-aligned bulgarian run is so hard. For one you have to have 20% dem support. Then if you keep the tsar you only get war industry out of it which sucks on the other hand u get either the council or the byzantine emperor guy both are pretty nice. Havent played the byzantine guy yet tho.

You can get military access from Spain. Spy mission - diplomatic pressure helps in such cases. I did Sevres achievement through this by 1940.

The issue with the Cruiser submarine you got from Greece, is that when you license something, you copy whatever template they had of that item, which means that Greece doesn’t have torpedoes on their cruiser submarine either, not to mention that cruiser subs are actually quite expensive compared to 1936 subs,
