Thanks,also we dint have captured flag and not one lost batlle in the third bulgarian state(1878-to present days)while we have captured flags from turkey,britain,greece,romania,serbia,russia,france and thats why one of our ww1 generals wrote a book named pobedeni bez da badem biti,or in english defeated without being beaten😂what bulgarian soldiers won on the battlefield our politicians gambled on the field of diplomacy.....bulgarians were called by western press prussians of the balkans because of the military victories even one of our officers after serbo bulgarian war in 1885 wrote in his memories "what can i answer to all the letters send by,austrian,german italian ,and many more nationalities who want to inlist into bulgarian armed forces"inspired by the great victory in this so called war of captains against generals cause bulgarian army highest rank was captain,while serbs was free from 40 years and had generals😂😂but lost.....many italian workers who was building railway in bulgaria signed in the army because was angry of serbian backstubbing....godbless

It's interesting to see how they preserved some traditions adopted from the Russian Emperor's Army: banners, badges, hats, most of uniforms etc.

There is no tsarist Russian uniform, if you mean the guards with red clothes, it is a copy of Bulgarian revolutionaries and underwent some changes in 1883, since then it has not been changed. After the liberation, it was the personal guard of Prince Alexander Battenberg. To the Chetnik uniform, Alexander Mosolov, a Russian officer and adjutant, added Alexander's Star and a Cossack eagle feather to the lion on the hat.

@@user-ej7ey3dx4t I don't mean the red historical clothes, they have nothing to do with Russia. I mean the entire uniforms: the military flag is a copy of Russian flags, the naval uniforms is 100% copy, the hats and so on. The Russians liberated you from Turks, no wonder why you adopted Russian uniforms.
