Yes it has to be the right amount of money, to corrupt the guards, it’s been done forever. Narco’s series, the Narco boss even says it. That was how Cosa Nostra did hits in prison. Someone wanted Bulger taken care of for murder or another group he did a screw job on. Epstein the documents come out every day who wanted him quieted. And there is no way any names that are running for office could have set up someone of wrong doing, as far back as the 80’s. Anyone who thinks so is in denial.

I grew up 2 blocks from Whitey Bulger in Southie. My mother moved us out of Massachusetts because she was afraid of my brothers joining them or being used by the mafia. The mafia helped in our neighborhood. Creeps and pedos weren't allowed. Every kid I knew felt safe and if someone creeped you out, you tell your parents and the person is dealt with. The mafia protected children and women!

I'm a middle-aged Haitian American man originally from Flatbush, Brooklyn during the early 1970s through the 1990s which was the heyday of gangsterism in NYC. As a result, I've been an organized crime historian for over forty years! Oftentimes people confuse my fascination with organized crime with admiration for gangsterism. Certainly, there are a lot of things a man finds alluring about influence, power, and wealth. But, I don't envy the paranoia, fear, and anxiety that comes with being a gangster! What happened to Whitey Bulger is commonplace in that life! Death or prison. In his case, it was death while in prison! He wasn't a good human being. And he paid the ultimate price.

It seems pretty plain that Bulger's transfer was deliberate: - Maybe the female medical staffer was related to or dating some BOP official who pushed to get him transferred. - Maybe some of his former associates were offended by a real or perceived sleight and bribed a BOP official to get him transferred. It just goes to show you that the roads you travel in life may wind up being roads that you have to back down, so be careful how your treat the people around you along the way.

This quote from the Godfather came to mind :) < Kay: I thought you weren’t going to become a man like your father. That’s what you told me. Michael: My father’s no different from any other powerful man. Any man who’s responsible for other people. Like a senator or president. Kay: You know how naïve you sound? This was both interesting and informative, and I just subscribed to the channel. I'm a Political Science professor and I always show my students the scene from "The Godfather" where Michael tells Kay that his father Vito is no different from any powerful man--like a president or a senator. Kay tells him he sounds naive because senators and presidents don't have men killed. Michael replies, "Oh. Now who's being naive, Kay?" I then ask my students if Michael is right: Is it really true that our government is no different from the Mafia? And then, long story short, I try to persuade them that there IS a difference. But as Mr. Franzese is making abundantly clear, as our government grows increasingly corrupt, there is less and less to distinguish it from organized crime. Keep up the great work, Mr. Franzese. You're an important voice, and may the Lord bless you and your ministry!

@sup1e has nothing to do with Trump. Whitey was a known informant. He was also a very high-profile inmate. He should've never been around other inmates. As for Epstein, he had dirt on a who's who of Hollywood, politics, and international heads of state. He was never going to survive prison. He was a huge liability who had to ve silenced.

Fair play to you Michael. Subject matter changes over time, it cannot last forever, alterations are necessary. Forget the dummies who slur and slander. Most viewers watch because you come over as a decent guy and they respect your opinion.
