@MachOneDesign A "How to" video to determine the type of injection probe based on injection limits would be a great addition to this video! Love the video!

Most injection probes can reach the highest levels in a test standard as long as it is spec'd within the frequency range. The amplifier will be the main factor as to whether you can reach those limits and for how long.

Great Video 👍 Can this test method used to verify burst and surge immunity (IEC 61000-4-4/5) on a ethernet connection as well? Kind regards

Hello, thank you for all this information. On the section: test set up (~5:00) there are some big ferrites. You mentioned that these ones are to avoid affectations into your reading, also the ferrites keep the noise to the DUT direction and not to the reading direction, right? In my case, I have a DUT that uses PWM signals to activate the functions (for example: activation signal 1 --> 105Hz at 33%--> function 1 is on). On my test, this PWM signal + power supply wires are inside of the current clamp. When the test begins the PWM signals are stronger affected via the perturbation that is running via the current clamp, and my DUT turns off. The PWM signals gest crazy, a lot of harmonics, change the amplitude, change the duty cycle and finally turns to 0. When the test is done, the PWM backs to the normal state (105Hz at 33% and the DUT is working). (Sorry for the long introduction) So, in order to avoid direct affectations to the PWM activation signal during the test I need to put some ferrites to avoid the noise come to the generator function? This kind of protections is not breaking the rules on the standard EMC test? Thank you a lot!!!

Great video, very informative. What was the failure mode in the product and how did you go about mitigating it.

It is a flow monitor, as you saw in the video, the flow reading was jumping when being exposed to BCI. For fixing the problem, see emccompliance.co.uk/structure-resonance-amplifies-rf-noise

Hi,this video is really nice and very helpful but I have a simple problem.. how to calculate the output power of the 20dB attenuator...is 2W enough forgive me I am a noob.

Hello, I am looking for proper current probe for my conducted emission EMC pre-compliance test setup to test DC together with some RS and USB signals. I bought everything from Tekbox along with the tent and EMCview software. Could you advise what should be taken into account buying such probe?

Hi Marcin, that is a big question, I am afraid that I cannot simply explain in answer to you. I would recommend you to follow our KZbin videos. We have some related topics following up this year. I am also in talk with Phil's Lab to do a subject on pre-compliance testing, so hopefully we can address your questions in that video. Stay tuned!

Near time 4min there two set of twisted wires: red/black and grey/x but what are the signals definition, what are these two twisted harness ?

Four wires. twisted 12V lines and twisted CAN bus lines.
