Great episode. Keep the beard, suits you. I had a lot of fright features as a kid but none of the standard Ghostbusters which is what I always wanted. When Hasbro reissued the Real Ghostbusters I jumped on them and they are key in my Ghostbusters display

Awesome haul! I've been searching for the vintage RGB for years but is not easy to find a complete set and good condition figures..... However, thx to Hasbro reissue, I finally got my childhood favorite figures, especially the Ecto 1... Ya know, fun fact that when I was a kid, I often argue with my friends that the Green Ghost is not Slimer, coz of his scale size compared with the human figures and I don't recalled Slimer have a tail like that in cartoons, took me years to accept that the Green Ghost is Slimer, lol.... Bad to the Bone and Granny Gross was my personal favorite ghoul figures, still had my finger crossed for its reissue....

Thanks Charlie! You're 100% right, the originals definitely aren't easy to find intact. I would imagine the reissues are made from a more durable plastic so the proton streams don't break so easily. That's a good point mate, with the large scale and the fact that the card said "Green Ghost" I can understand you thinking he was a different ghost to Slimer. I would love to see some of the rarer late wave figures get the re-issue!🤞

Aw great video Scott!!! As you know I played with ghostbusters as a kid so this was great to watch, plus!!!! I completely forgot the claw extends and retracts on Ecto1!!!! So you’ve totally helped me there 👍 And the Booozooka outtake man I died with the re-takes 😂😂 Awesome video as always man, looking forward to the next job lot 👍

Nice story dude, I remembered the 1st introduced me to the ghostbusters when I was a kid, were the RGB episode 'Mrs Roger's Neighborhood'... And it scared the heck of me when those scary Ghosts attacking them and Venkman were possesed by 'what', showed his evil scary face... So I stopped and say myself never to watch that cartoon again... Then my mom brought me to the mall, I saw the shelfs of RGB toys, it got me hooked to it to see how cool the toys is, my mom bought me the vhs tape of RGB episode 'doctor doctor' and 'ain't NASA sarily so', and I'm loving those episodes alot... So I began my love with the Ghostbusters franchises.... I wanted a ghostbusters toy, so I asked my mom for it, so she went to mall to do shopping, she promised to get one for me, I was so excited for it when my mom came back from the mall... But not what I expected..... She got me a Ghostbuster alright, a Filmation version, my mom didn't know the difference... So I was dissapointed. So the next trip to the mall, I managed to tell her that I wanted an Egon figure with proton pack, so she understood but when she came back, she tells me the bad news that all the Egon and the heroes with proton packs, all sold out but she got me a fright features Egon instead, abit dissapointed but at least she got me my favorite character, then later, my dad got me the fright features Winston, then later Dracula... I was hooked with those figures, loving them and always watching cartoons, also I remembered my dad told me that he saw the TV guide that a local TV channels gonna show the 1984 Ghostbuster movie, this is the first time I heard that this franchise got the movie, I was excited to watch it, my mom taping it for me (thx so much mom), I'm loving the movie alot after watching, dunno how many times I watch the tape, lol..... A year later, I got my attention on TMNT but I still love both of the franchise, I play my TMNT figures with my Ghostbusters figures but sadly that my Ghostbusters' arms or legs starting to fall apart... I was devastated that time, I went back to mall, unfortunately I didn't see much Ghostbusters figures, mostly TMNT, well it was awesome while it lasted....

Very cool to read about your introduction to the Ghostbusters Charlie, that's interesting that you saw the animated series and played with the toys before you even learned about the movie. It's the other way around for me, I don't recall seeing the cartoon as a kid, but I know it did appear on TV here in Australia because I've spotted it listed in some old TV Guides that I have. I can definitely understand you being scared watching some episodes of the animated series as a kid, some episodes are pretty dark, even to watch nowadays!... and I can just imagine your disappointment when your mum came home with the Filmation Ghostbusters figure!😫😂

@@ScottCrusher although RGB and the toyline already close, I'm still loving them even though I grew up, I remembered in 1997, they're showing the extreme ghostbusters, I watched them and loving every episodes, especially my most favorite episode 'Back in the Saddle' where the Real Ghostbusters return and teamed up with the new team, although they're much scary and darker episodes than the classic RGB but that time I'm already a teenager, so I'm used to those horror and thriller film... I saw the Extreme ghostbusters figures in the mall, I was so in love with their Ecto-1 (except their extreme logo, lol) I wanted to grab this but afraid my friends will laugh at me and my parents against it, so I passed... (I remembered when I talk with my friends about Street Sharks and Beast Wars, they all laughed at me, tell me to quit all this crap and stick with video games like Doom, Duke Nukem, Warcraft, Starcraft, C&C, Red Alert, etc.)

Such a good episode mate, my first exposure to the real ghostbusters figures was at my mates place we used to play with the real ghostbusters figures for hours he had a lot of the fright features ghostbusters and a lot to the new ecto vehicles so many good memories and I’ll hit you up for any doubles you would like to move on 😉👍🏻🚫👻
