The reason you may get quarters that are painted red or blue is because store owners that have stuff in there store such as jukeboxes or other types of coin operated machines have been known to paint quarters that they plan on sticking into there own machine , that's the way when they collect they know how much they made and how much they put it themselves.

@@quikplay Another, possibly not so common reason is something my sister did in high school (around the 1980s). She wanted to see how long it took for change to circulate and get back to her, she painted a bunch of quarters with reddish nail polish. It took her around half a year to get one back.

Taylor Sessions yeah I tried to only expand with the money I earned from my first machine. But this machine was a little hard to get going consistently since it was used but it is now. I’m saving up for another one but don’t want to spend to much time since I’m a kid and don’t have a job. But I think I’m going to try and expand and get 2 more locations like a smog place and a mechanics place.

Personally I don't fill my machines nearly as much unless it's a great location. You seem to have locations that can handle a lot of candy though.

Thank you Morgan!! & for our candy machines it ranges between $10 per month on the low end all the way up to $100 per month for a couple machines! I'd say our average machine makes $30-40 per month though.

How often do you clean the inside of your machines?

Great question Sandy! When individual canisters get real low we wipe them down inside and this is usually within every 2-3 months tops. & of course before we place them initially on location they are each cleaned inside and out. Even the brand new ones we wipe down before placing!

I’m kinda curious if you could have a metal shop or go diy and make a better tray for your candy machines. Little sheet metal and rivets job. Mock it up with some cereal box cardboard. Once you have the design you could bulk out a bunch.

Great pulls from the candy machines! Also the triple all metal candy machine that you have is it a pain in the ass to take out candy if your going to switch something up? Because I know some machines have the removable canisters so it makes it easier but the all metal triple candy machines don’t. What do you think about that?

Thank you bro!! & these machines actually have little plastic pieces in that back of the machine (inside the money door) that you can pull out to let candy release from each section. It's a real easy way to change out candy! I'll make sure we show exactly what I'm talking about in a video in the near future.

The one you see is actually an older model that we got many of new in the box from a retired vendor. Gumball-machine.com sells the better version, we have a handful of those as well and plan to only use them going forward!
