This is a great topic put forward really well by Marc. Testing for range is such an enhanced way to look at testing. His example of potassium being in the 200s instead of 400s is a real example if this thinking. If reefers want to vilify the test because resolution between two tests is 406 and 441 they have a false expectation. Looking for range and ratio is highly advanced to what has been done the last 10 years or more.

Great presentation Marc! I am also dosing trace elements and I am also getting the green haze on the glass every day. I guess it is a good thing. More photosynthesis maybe? My corals are looking better, more maintenance needed tough.

surely the Triton method and the ICP test that shows specific elements that are missing and how to dose them appropriately is the way to go surely?

Do you run a fuge? Also are you consistant with feeding? I fill test tubes to make sure I feed consistent amounts and run a large fuge.

When you are talking about ICP than mention who has started it first, it is Triton, so please take that in mind when you are talking about ICP invention than do a respect to Triton.

They didn't, what they have done it is to offer ICP testing for reefers. Others were just copy it.
