My boy does this he is 11 months old. We have 2 cats. he's grown up with them since he was 4 months. he is a english bull terrier crossed witha a staffordshire bull terrier. He loves darting around the room with both my cats. especially my 5 year old as she's the younger cat so she has more energy, they run up and down the stairs all the time together side by side. i've still got to try and record them doing it. My old boy cat is 14 so a quick tap and hiss and the dog stays clear lol

my bullie is a big solid 68lbs. he HATES cats, he's killed so many strays that have come into our yard that we've lost count. he has a crazy high prey drive !

this is called brindle and it's the main color of bullterriers along the color of white! Then there is also different variations of brindle, like almost black and maybe some red colors also. Then there is totally red/white bulls but they are kinda rare, I've had over 10 litters and I've only had one red myself.

I'm glad it turned out that way. I felt the same as shecterkid1988 - that it was an accident waiting to happen... You seem to have a very good training on your pup, but still, them being alone will be a different story if the dog is not taught from the start that it may NOT play with the cats. A few dogs can, most large dogs can't, and shouldn't. They might even mean well, but hurt the cats (or smaller dogs) unintentionally... My Amstaff/Pitbull broke the Pelvis of two small Peterbald kittens

... (I breed cats), because he jumped up in the sofa and didn't see them... (They were about 8 weeks and the bunch (5 of them) had snuggled up in the sofa, and my dog accidentally crushed them when jumping the couch. 3 were without injury. Now, I have a German Wirehair, a hunting breed, and he may NEVER EVER play with the cats. At all. He can snuggle with them and sleep with them, but never play. Because someday he WILL snap when playing and grab the "rabbit" by pure instinct.
