Bulldog Folding Kayak Trailer Overview

I bought this trailer and have used it several times. It is great. I have a one car garage and this trailer folds up so small that I can still fit my motorcycle, this trailer and my Mazda CX5 in there. Don't let the ability of this thing to fold up fool you. It is still very strong. I would and have recommended this to anyone that needs a trailer this size.

How did 7 people not like this? That is pretty damn awesome...Harbor Freight sales one that folds but it doesnt fold away that small!!

If you are just limited on space then I guess this is a solution. However it looks to be a pain in the butt to take apart and rebuild after every use. Also I bet it cost at least $1500.00. I will stay with the Harbor Freight one for under $300

Are they out of business. Website is no longer valid. Says domain name is available. Only thing that comes up for Bulldog trailers is an Australian website.

The trailers are originally from Australia, their website states to email them when you check for international sales.

Can this trailer accommodate a truck aluminum tool box and handle free way speed? If so, shut up and take my money. I live in a condominium and trailer parking is not allowed.

Would have been nice to seen it with a kayak on it. Looks expensive.

I would consider doing the folding trailer thing if I had a separate place to store my kayak. I built the Harbor Freight trailer and the only thing I have against it is the fact that it is rated for almost a ton. Which means it has over-rated leaf springs. So the suspensions is pretty much meaningless. And they are those slider springs so they are super noisy. So I went to the referenced site for this thing and two problems were found. 1. No price. 2. Metric weights numbers, even on the U.S. site. Damn you. Damn you to the hell at 157,000 km deep. Anyway, looks pretty cool. But I'll stick with my HF trailer for now. I have it customized for a fully rigged Hobie Outback and don't feel like de-rigging it all the time. So it sits there just like a bass boat.

retrodog63 you can add an extra weight load to your HF trailer to help maximize your suspension. It can also be located to help with weight distribution.
