A little electric sound in a heavy song doesn't hurt at all, I think those sounds fit the song perfectly.
@Colt2OO24 жыл бұрын
Exactly right. I see it as them taking influence from bands like Linkin Park and Bring Me The Horizon by incorporating electronics into their songs while switching up their style. Yes this album isn't nearly as heavy as their other albums, but that doesn't matter to me because as long as I think the songs are still great, I don't care about that.

"Leap Of Faith" Too many cuts and too many broken bones Draining the life, burying skeletons Do or die, this is the feeling I'm craving Waiting for life to ignite This is the moment for taking A leap of faith, I'll... Jump into the fire, no fear, I'll Take you the edge but it still can't break me I'm not caving in! The beat of a puslse, feeling it resonate Into the night, hearing it fade away Do or die, this is a choice that I'm making And it feels like I'm living a lie This is the moment for taking A leap of faith, I'll... Jump into the fire, no fear, I'll Take you the edge but it still can't break me I'm not caving in! Nothing's gonna kill me, come take me Closer to the edge but it still can't break me I'm not caving in! So fill your lungs, inhale the future That's screaming out So fill your lungs, inhale the future That's screaming out Release the pressure! So fill your lungs, inhale the future That's screaming out Release the pressure! So fill your lungs, inhale the future That's screaming out Jump into the fire, no fear, I'll Take you the edge but it still can't break me I'm not caving in! These guys play in drop b. That's heavier than drop c. I play in drop c. If you listen to what I've written on my channel you will see the difference. In an interview with I think it was metal injection they had stated it was a goal from their origination to have each album be different than the other as they wanted to keep evolving. I give these guys props for that. They stuck to it and nailed it. I give anyone that sticks to their visions as long as it doesn't harm innocent people. Some of these people may have complete different interests than me but you know what? They had the courage to push to where they want to be in life. Not everyone has that as they allow binding chains to create a mental block preventing them from achieving their goals

I personally love the direction and sound BFMV is taking, I've f#cked with them since 06-07 & they're the "heaviest" band I've listened to. I wasn't a big fan of the hardcore screaming but with them they pulled it off so well and I became a fan. Some of my favs are, Tears Dont Fall; All These Things I Hate, Waking The Demon, No Way Out & Rasing Hell to name a few. With that said, this album his probably the least heaviest but man it still f%cking rocks! The sick guitars are still there, the vocals are still there, the screaming is still there, it's not as heavy but its there damit! Gravity 🎧🎸🎵🤘

Whoever is complaining about their newer stuff needs to be more open minded. I think the softer tone in the songs really work and the lack of solos works with the tone. I do like their old stuff but this is still good in my opinion. Every band gets bored of doing their old stuff at some point and might want to experiment a little. You are allowed to have your own opinions, but if you are gonna criticize the song I suggest using constructive criticism instead of just saying “this sucks, I miss their old stuff”.

Fresh Peppers this is what every metalcore band from their era like them are releasing now. There are no risks, nothing original and nothing exciting about it. The same synths, guitar tone, vocals, etc. I could care less if they change their sound (even to something soft), I just won’t enjoy it if it’s just following what’s trendy right now.
