This song has always been in drop c, they’re probably playing in drop c flat or drop B here. Edit: I’m wrong here. They’re actually playing in C standard not Drop C.

@@tritex6350 no? in the early days they played it like on the record in D standard. just watch some of the 2008 shows and look at their hands when you get a chance, the chord shapes are clearly standard tuning. Only recently they changed it to drop C so they don't have to change guitars during the set. (And probably it's also better for Matt's voice since it's one step lower)

I always felt like BFMV fell short of the potential that they held in their 2000s debut. But you can tell how professional, and how tight they live performances are. They became really professional, that's a dimension they grew dramatically well in.
