Japan has a huge variety of bentos (Japanese lunchbox) to eat on their Shinkansens (Bullet trains).
They are Ekiben (Eki = Train station Ben = Bento) and are sold around the Shinkasens station in Japan
Here are 9 interesting bentos you can get to eat on the train, there is even one that can heat up your food
This video was film in December & early January, stay safe everyone!

As a grown japanese guy, that shinkansen shaped bento box reminds me of my childhood. So nostalgic. Whenever I had a school trip and had to take bento box with me, I’ve asked my mom to put bunch of fried chickens or every other meaty stuff possible in the box, knowing those will be all soggy and not taste perfect when I eat them.

After thirty minutes of quietly eating ten packed lunches by himself, the man sitting next to you on the train finally breaks the ice by asking if you would hand model his persimmon leaf sushi. He then pulls out the grand finale, a tried and true classic: Dr. Yellow Sandwich.

When ur eyes focus on the book/phone etc, your pereferal vision is catching the movement outside the windows. This is what triggers the nausea. My son used to have it really bad. Floofy Doge In the description it says this was recorded in December and he went again in January, I thought the same thing, a lot of food for one long train ride! Lol... My dad, sister, her hubby and the group of people from their church orchestra, all went to Japan and they all got to go on the bullet train! They loved it and the way to see a lot of the cities around... real fast! Lol

Iden Versio it kinda depends on the how big the bento is and how long the ride is, because a train from Tokyo to Osaka can take up to 4 hours, and if you’re eating a small portion bento than yes, you’re going to get hungry, and it honestly depend on the person it self.

@@lipton5428 Oh ok...I respect that. To each of their own. It's just that Japanese people aren't that friendly to foreigners. Well yes, they're hospitable, but it's hard to make friends there. If you're an introvert, then you won't have any problems. You can still mingle with other foreigners...but with Japanese, that's hard to achieve. Just saying.

This should be mandatory for all travel! With good food and internet not to mention clean toilets, traveling would become fun to everyone!

Hi Dancing Bacon's, I love your channel. ❤ This is the second time I watched this video. LoL 😂 I watched it awhile ago and here I am again. It's very relaxing and I love your commentary for the food and products. My grandmother was Japanese and Korean I was raised on mixed cultured food. Japanese culture has been one of my biggest influences. I have Japanese, Korean, British, African, Native American and Spanish cultures in my family. Thank you for sharing your culture. I miss my mom and she was a big influence on my life she taught me about our Asian cultures. I still eat like a Japanese British person and I 42 years old. 😊 I am very proud of my mixed cultured family. I learned a lot from them. I appreciate all cultures. ❤
