My understanding is that the encrypted file type for recordings is a security feature. IE. if someone steals the SD card/camera, they won't be able to access the recordings without having access to the mobile app.

Yes the same goes for cloud storage. If footage is leaked it remains encrypted unless your encryption key is revealed

hi my friend!! do you must have power 12v cable suplie or you can conect with utp cable without ac cable???? tnx for the answer

Could you clarify the question a litte? I'm not sure if I got it right
@EsotericArctos3 жыл бұрын
Not a bad camera. Seems to look reasonable for WiFi. I am impressed with the colour night vision/spotlight feature for the price point. The 10 second delay seems common on Google. Not sure on Amazon. All my cameras, whtehr Reolink, hikvision or whatever, all have a 10 second delay on the Google Hub or Chromecasts.

It's the stream latency. Not an issue unless you are trying to talk to someone on the other side (if supported). But yeah night time performance is really good. It was seriously dark outide
@EsotericArctos3 жыл бұрын
@@notenoughtech The night performance is what I was hoping for. The Reolink I have outside is rubbish at night time

I do like the reolink approach to RTSP though. So easy to use.
@EsotericArctos3 жыл бұрын
@@notenoughtech Yes. They have good features and bad. The one thing I wish Reolink had that I think would really make a game changer for their cameras is iFrame interval adjustment. It's about 0.5 and not adjustable. If this could be set to at least 1 or even be made user adjustable it would really set them to be that step ahead.

Yes perhaps we would have more useful CCTV images helping to catch the bad guys... Constant battle between storage and fidelity unfortunately

What happens when the SD card in the camera is full? Does the camera overwrite the oldest footage and keep recording, or do you manually have to clear/delete footage?
@notenoughtech3 жыл бұрын
Yes it will write over the footage if you select the option. You can also dismiss the new footage and stop when full

IMOU website has not showed any PoE support. Did you test the PoE yourself?
@notenoughtech3 жыл бұрын
Hey, I'm just checking the ref as well. I haven't tested it myself. I start to wonder where I have seen this information? As I as well can't find it any more
@murtuza7533 жыл бұрын
@@notenoughtech I also couldn't find it anywhere. There is another review by someone on KZbin and he said it doesn't support PoE.
@philippemarmonier66353 жыл бұрын
@@murtuza753 I intended to use the PoE ... and I still don’t know if it supports PoE. The only IMOU that specifies ‘PoE’ is the older IMOU Bullet PoE reference... Did any of you use PoE with any of the Bullet 2 references ?
@notenoughtech3 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry but I haven't. I might have seen something not related to one of the cameras and by accident ended up on the list of features

@@notenoughtech I sent a message to IMOU Global and IMOU France via messenger, and to my question (Power PoE via the Ethernet cable ?) the French support answered ‘yes, it has an internet port’... so I reformulate my question (can the 12v power be transmitted via the Ethernet cable instead of the power outlet supplied ?)... and then no answer yet. So I’m afraid the real answer is ‘No the PoE function in not available on the Bullet 2S’. If I have a clearer info, I’ll report it here, but since then you can consider it has no PoE !
