My oldest daughter is 14. I had to put her in virtual school because of bullying. And it wasn’t the standing up for herself that got to her, it was the fact that when she stood up for herself, she was the only one getting in trouble. Suspended. Alternative school. Finally I got tired of it and told her that I have her back and we took her away from there. She’s doing much better now out of that environment.

It's our responsibility as parents we can't hold schools all the accountability here, but we do need to work together as a community and as a culture for our mexican people, and all people in general. I was a depressed fatherless youth . I was fortunate that I wasn’t bullied over this in the 60’s by my peers. It was the parents of my friends that bullied me. I wasn’t allowed in many of their homes because of being raised by a single mom . R.I.P. to this poor young boy.

Sadly we all did it, either bullied or got bullied or both. As you grow up you learn that the lack of education at home or that same education at home led you to be hurtful towards other because hurt people hurt other hurt other people. As a parent that’s one thing I make sure I teach my kids to not hurt and not allowed to be hurt but it takes one parent at a time. God bless this poor kid and his family

Now I would help him but when your a kid empathy’s lost on you and all you care about is being popular with the popular kids. This is the struggles the we first generation or kids growing up in a world were our parents are not from. Some kids are truly alone. Being fed and provided for isn’t all that. I was depressed wasted ten years doing drugs after being in a group home. Now I’m still lost. But I’m grown I thought I was happy but it’s just mania. I want to live. There’s a big world. But all around I just see loneliness pain and struggle. There is good out there but we a lot of us are alone and will I ever find happiness.
