As an American, I can say Perth Mint is better than the RCM in nearly every facet which is a compliment to the Perth Mint because the RCM is damn good. The silver maple leaf is superior to the silver kangaroo, but otherwise the Perth Mint products are a notch above the RCM equivalent.

There's so much room for growth too even though that they're good like if Perth mint started making quarter ounce and half ounce Platinum kookaburras that would be awesome Or Square half gram coins made of gold There's even room for quarter ounce gold bars

@@OzkAltBldgCo-bv8tt Here is what I'd like to see from the Perth Mint: 1 oz, 10 oz, kilo silver Great White Shark series ala the Kookaburra/Koala. 1/4 oz gold koala and great white shark. I also think a gold coin with a consistent annual design would bring in new market share. Some people want the same thing on their coin. Probably make it a gold kookaburra with the 1990 design.

@rustyshackleford2719 agree the thing with the 1/10 of an ounce Platinum kookaburra is that you can't read that it's a 10th of an ounce or the Platinum part although the bird looks incredibly beautiful. The quarter ounce coin is going to be better.

But resale is horrible for perth. Most dealers won't buy due to counterfeits. Zinc and gold plated.
