Luckily for the Spurs. MJ and the Bulls would've won their 7th Championship.

Bulls management fucked up. The Strike shortened season would have been easy for the aging Bulls to win #7.

That shortened season would have been the perfect circumstance for that Veteran Bulls team to win their 7th.

Here’s why Jordan would average at least 45 today. Like Phil Jackson said, he played within the flow of the offense. He looked to initiate a play and establish the triangle early, then would take over like Kobe if he needed to. Most teams took a good portion of their possession to set up the best shot, which is why the pace was so slow then. But if you had position-less basketball with a green light to shoot whenever, the lanes wide open, no hand-checking, and an empty paint area, Jordan is getting 15-20 in the 1st Quarter alone. Especially if he was encouraged to work on his threes and operate from downtown efficiently like in his 2nd threepeat. His stats are gaudy and beyond compare even in a very slow era for a reason.

too big difference of 3-pt. attempts compared to todays nba..the focus to win the game vs. scoring high..defense played vs pure offense..the old NBA still the best

More than 37 thousand people attended this game, the largest crowd for a Spurs home game that season. Well duh, the Bulls were the biggest draw of any team in the 90s. Home teams typically said another reason the Bulls were so tough was, because so many of the fans were rooting for the away team Bulls.

@michaeljordansportsvision63935 күн бұрын
The strike would of helped MJ & the Bulls in a big way. The 50 game ‘98-‘99 season didn’t start until early February (that’s close to 8 months of rest). Minor roster tweaks + all that time off could have made #7 a real possibility in my opinion.

@@michaeljordansportsvision6393 I think MJ would be out because of a finger injury .
@michaeljordansportsvision63932 күн бұрын
@ his finger injury happened shortly after winning the Finals. The Bulls ‘98-‘99 Season didn’t start until February 5th (that gave MJ plenty of time to heal). There’s no way he misses the season or any significant time. This is MJ we’re talking about! Not these lame players of today who sit out months or an entire season with a torn pinky finger nail lol.
