Good vid thanks although I finalised bas before I connected to ato now they say finalised in green but I can’t lodge them. It says I need to delete the duplicate statement first but then at the bottom right side of the activity statement it says I need to delete all statements after this one before it will let me delete the one I’m on. Is this some kind of cyclical Xero joke or something cause I have no idea how to get them to lodge, basically there is no delete button. Thanks in advance.

Do you do a video on setting up a Doc.x template for xero? I struggle with word, and I am struggling with the formatting in the template. moving things up to make more room and make look nicer

Great Video Mark !! Keep it up!, How do we actually add expenses when completing the BAS on Xero - I only see 2 tabs - Summary & Transactions

You don't add transactions to your BAS in that part of Xero. You add them in other ways like paying bills, sending invoices, reconciling bank transactions etc.

So how do I delete a draft activity statement and redo? I have google this and the steps do not apply to my version of zero?

I don't think you can delete a draft. Insead, click on Finalise (but don't lodge it to the ATO) then click on Delete and start over.

When i get to the advanced settings there is no drop down box selection under GST Accounting method, it just says None.
