Hi, great video! Question: does Xero have ''tags'' or ''categories'' for products on invoices, that I can create a custom report from (eg. invoicing Eucalyptus seed species, versus Acacia seed species) that when invoicing the product added to a ''tag'' or ''category'' and I can then create a report on how many kg and $ of Eucalyptus seeds sold and same with Acacias kg and $ I think it is the Tracking categories, which you described in this video like cost centers or profit centers. Perhaps a video request?

Hi there. In the course I mainly show you how to do various tasks in Xero. So you can use the demo company or your own live Xero account to follow along and do the same things I do. So it is sort of like doing practical exercises. Hope this helps.

You need to bring the inventory in as an Item when you create your sales invoice. Make sure you set up the inventory item as tracked inventory in the first place.

Asset Register. If we first time enter Asset Equipment Dr. $6500 What will be credit Account Payable or Cash. But both Option are not available?. Question If your reply Depreciation dr and Accumulated Depreication i.e. end of the year. The Depreciation and Accumulated Depreciation are posted at the end of the year. If your Answer is equity then please explain in the reporting section.?

The credit can be accounts payable if you create the asset from a bill or it can be cash if you create the asset from a spend money transaction.

It's only when you connect the asset to a transaction such as a bill or spend money transaction that Xero creates the debit and credit for you. See this part here "Manually add fixed assets to the fixed asset register.
