I fondly remember watching Rocky & His Friends/The Bullwinkle Show & Tennessee Tuxedo & His Tales/The Underdog Show in syndication back in the early-to-mid-1970s every Sunday morning. Back then, us kids had cartoons coming out of our ears all weekend!!! On Mondays, I remember sitting in my grade school classes getting all excited for the weekend to arrive, so I could watch classic cartoons like these, The Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Hour, The New Flintstones, The New Pink Panther Show, Dynomutt Dog Wonder, etc., etc.. An era that's sadly long gone. Saturdays & Sundays haven't been the same since. R.I.P., Saturday & Sunday morning classic TV. :'(

(8:03 - 8:07) And now we also have clocks using quartz crystals that run on battery power! I believe South Station in Boston's clock tower still uses the "weights and a pendulum" mechanism, but I do also know there are some pendulum clocks that use springs instead of weights. One of my aunts had a small clock that worked that way, with one spring to power the clock mechanism and another to power the chimes.

***** If any of your relatives have a grandfather clock or a cuckoo clock, that also uses the weights and pendulum mechanism too.

I love how Tennessee gets his idiot friend to be the crash dummy for his questionable ideas.---As you can see I have waaaay to much time on my hands.
