Wow... I'm so sorry! That's pretty much the opposite of where I come from. The entire school administration WERE farmers here! 😂❤😊 But THEY were the bullies. I ended up dating the Principals son. Got pregnant at 16. (He was 20) My family said I had to get married or else I wouldn't be able to keep my baby. So I did. But he turned out to be abusive. So as soon as the baby was born and I saw that it didn't magically fix him... 😂 I got divorced. But guess what? That's right! The JUDGE and The ATTORNEY were ALSO both Farmers! So he took custody of our 4 month baby. Now my son is 23. And he's a Narcissist. 😢 He suffered through too many years of abuse and mind games and it caused him to grow up just like them. So, in my case, the FARMERS have always been the Bullies. 😭😕🥺

Never underestimate a farmer. Successful farmers have to understand so many different disciplines to succeed. They are mechanical engineers, they are money managers, they understand how to maneuver through complex government regulations, they have to understand and comply with environmental regulations, they have to manage fleets of machinery, knowing when is best to lease, when to buy, when to sell. And I am sure there are many other skills that I have not thought of, that a good farmer manages.

The twist to the story is that guy doesn't know what Rusty got and just hates that asshole teacher too 😂 "Yup that looks like a 100 to me" As if math is graded like multiple choice 😅

Yes, I had a similar teacher at school who found it funny to say, "I can smell a farmer. Can anyone else smell it?" He would also make animal noises to get a cheap laugh. One of the bully boys tried to take this to another level, making my life really uncomfortable. This seemed to go on for a long time. However, one day after this lesson came out of the classroom, one thing led to another, and we had a fight and knocked the bully unconscious, and he also fell down a flight of stairs. It really frightened me. My father was called and came to fetch me from school. He wasn't aware of what I had been going through at all. After a few days away from school, both my mother and father went to the school for an explanation and how to proceed further. The police were also involved because of the severity of the fight. Both the teacher and the bully never attended my school again. I was 16 at the time, and still, have a scar of battle on my hand to this day at the age of 62. Farming stock are usually gentle, busy people who are of a sensible nature and are fair-minded.

As the father was apologizing to his son in the barn for not providing a better life, all I could think of was how much better could he expect?! Look at that barn!! It’s magnificent!! As the old saying goes, when you’re making fun of a farmer, don’t do it with your mouth full.

Nice to see a story like this. The students can be monsters. But remember it's the ones who are in charge that allow it to be that way. Very inspiring story and I hope it inspires those in similar situations.

Cows are naturally curious animals. I know because I would sneak into the barn area and they would follow me around till I opened the gate to the pasture . I was barely 5... BTW Excellent video!

Farming is hard work. My uncle had a dairy farm in Connecticut. He had 9 children. None of them wanted the farm. He eventually sold it. Cows have to be fed and milked every day. A farmer has to get up early every day. Never a day off. Never a vacation.

All the farmers and their children have always been respectful. I can tell you that a teacher telling me to stop throttling a bully would not have stopped me. We were sent to our coach not the principal. Athletes were held to a higher standard or you didn’t play.

This clip had me so charged. Seeing a father have to tell his sleeping son “sorry I didn’t give you a better life” infuriated me. You did that boy damn better than most. And I know it’s fiction but dammit if that didn’t piss me off

I seriously don’t get where this disrespect comes from. Do people like that think farm work is easy? I seriously doubt that is is. Getting up super early every day, lots of hard physical labour, working outdoors in all conditions. Farmers provide us with a lot of the essentials we need. Milk, eggs, grain, vegetables, livestock for meat. Think where we’d be without them doing all that hard work. They deserve a god damn medal, not abuse.
