My theory is that once he gets expelled, Gary gets sent to a boarding school outside of Bullworth. If Jimmy has to move to go to the university (in a sequel maybe), he might going to meet a much more dangerous and sociopathic Gary than before who has impressive manipulative skills or even his own gang of dangerous friends.
