A bully squad usually does their best to just make life hell for the killer. 1 gen was done. They were focused more on trying to save teammates/bully the killer than getting out of the game. Me too only I didn’t had light born because they item swapped at the last second. When I saw what they were trying to do I originally was going to bleed them out because well they are bully squads, then I was able to kill one of them, she had boon expo…found that out when I saw the boom disappear. The rest of the survivors gave up when there boon went to heaven.

I’m a survivor main but I play killer once in a while. I got bullied hard when I played against a flashlight squad. Every time I picked someone up I got blinded. Eventually they stopped working on Gens and just gathering around and blinded me as soon as I tried picking someone up. It was so annoying, never encountered a bully squad like that before. I didn’t want to play killer until I got Lightborn.

try forcing a down near a wall so they can't blind you after you face the wall while picking surv up. Or just get better at zoning survivors and realize flashlight squads are literally always too altruistic and you will have ez 4k without such an useless perk as Lightborn.

Also you can't avoid flashlights in all animations such as vaulting, breaking pallets, picking up survivors or hooking. Also Lightborn gives you 10s of aura reading, showing you the aura(s) of survivor(s) that blinded you for 10s. A nice bonus next to 100% flashlight imunity. The only way to stop bully squads. Also many bully squads are too dumb to understand that they can't blind you and if you pretend to have been blinded like walking into a wall for example they will think they are save, til they are downed a few seconds later.

If i ever face a bully squad or i down then and theyre next to a pallet, having the guards do rounds and chase or get hits on them do wonders. Especially when i fake going for the pick up and see someone coming to get the pallet or light save and then hit them, while the guards chasing another, works everytime. Had multiple games where i downed all four of them cuz they just couldnt take the hint and go do gens.

Yep, my first bully squad was like this too. Less than 50 hours in and I got matched with that, purple flashlights, and chase perks so they could run in and get the saves. Thi was also when you could blind killers at lockers with flashlights, so a horse and pony show at shack with three survivors while the final one just casually got to do gens. It was horrible, didn't pick up the game for a week afterwards. That said, after a mont hof trying to unlock Billy, Lightborn came into the SoS and well, it always makes its way onto my builds when I see more than three flashlights in the lobby.

@@narkotri1er716 Any half decent squad won't stick to walls. Being near a wall doesn't stop flashbang, and sometimes you can get flashed from certain side angles. Zoning doesn't work unless survs are mega pussies or there's only one, and they wouldn't be a bully squad if they were a mega pussy. Hard to counter altruism unless you build for it. Lightborn isn't useless, it eliminates an entire survivor mechanic and 3 items, allows safe pick ups if not near a pallet, and pisses off whiny bully squads.

Franklins is inherently an anti fun perk, it does not help the killer win chases, does not help the killer with gen regression, does not help with useful information, does not help with mobility. It literally exists with the SOLE purpose of making peoples games a bit less fun. Even the worst survivor strategies have the benefit of stalling the killer, which is literally an objective for them.

Lightborn is an interesting perk because it's the only perk, in its current state, that completely counters a Survivor item and renders it useless. It would be like if they changed Coulrophobia so that you couldn't heal at all within the Killer's TR or Hex: Ruin so that you couldn't repair gens while the totem is active.

There are two ways to ruin item based bullysquads. Bring Lightborn, you counter flashlights, firecrackers, and flashbangs. OR Be Dredge and use Franklin's Demise. Knock an item out of someone's hand, and manually climb into a locker next to it. Loot Goblin Dredge.

It's just a wasted perk slot. Evading a flashlight save is the easier thing in the game. Most of the time you can get a free hit or even a kill because people stay near the downed person.

​@@Debilinside I do, really often. And I agree to him. In my 900h of playtime, I only used the perk 3 times. And that only to see if it's valuable. It's actually a wasted perk slot. As soon as they realize you don't have light born, they will start doing gens, instead of running after the chased surv with the intention to safe him. Isn't optimal, right? Also, you can fake to pick up. In the best case, the surv will run towards you and get hit (absolute free hit). Also, you can just patrol the environment for hiding surv which typically gives you another free hit. All these free hits won't happen as soon as they realize you run light born. And don't forget, they lose time for running after you. You don't. It's really not that hard to avoid flashlight safes. Of course, ppl sometimes get the safe, but only bcs I didn't pay enough attention.

The anti bully build i use is Lightborn, Irongrasp, Mad grit, forced penance Lightborn for no flash saves irongrasp and mad grit is for when the survivors friends try to body block the hook when you are carrying someone. Forced penance can be switch to any perk, but its great for when people are body blocking for each other they are heal blocked for 80 seconds. so they cant tag out and body block so quickly.

Here because I got bullied by a flashlight squad for the first time lol. All Megs most rank 1. Don’t know how I got matched with them I was a level 20 Huntress. Map had long walls, endless loops, bad map for hatchets. Made worse by being on mobile, where the button to hit and pick up are the same and replace each other which gave them a free pick up. Now dedicated to making light born a teachable never again 😅

Don't know about first team, but second pick flashligths at 29 sec before start If you don't play green ranks - they know, that killer will take lightborn or don't care about light. So 'meh'

i played against the exact same squad in the first clip, and ironically i was also using legion, it didn’t seem like their goal was to win they never really gotten gens done which was weird
