Thanks bulu da for your respond. I am a regular viewer of your channel and a subscriber. Your information are really informative. Actually maximum RE riders are very much sensitive about there bikes so they cannot digest the negative things for there bikes. I am also riding RE since 2008 but I am practical. Keep it up BULU BHAI 👍🙏

Truely, your review only helped me buying DOMINAR in 2018 . Somewhere I felt ur points about dominar can be trusted .. and today 5 years , 60,000 KM with my dominar , u r so true and correct today also... Again now I m in a need of new bike and I am closely watching your bike reviews . With dominar only one problem I had was its gear ratio ( as I end up in using my dominar for city ride / office going purpose only 😢) Now in this triumph 400 as I m finding the bike that I have been searching for .... ( As u r saying its low end torque is good 💯) .. thank u so much ..bulu da .

Superb unbiased review . Awaiting your feedback on Ronin. Triumph Bbsr could give me test ride within its compound only but I could feel it's smoothness and the sleek gear changes. I totally concur with your views on Hunter's shortcomings which were the reasons for opting Ronin whose sitting geometry is second to none.
@niloymaity
@niloymaity 10 ай бұрын
I'm the Ronin guy Bulu bhai mentioned in the video. I had commented on the previous video as I'm planning to upgrade. You may want to check the conversations. If you are planning to buy Ronin, these are the things that you should know. Writing this after 1 year ownership that includes both city rides and touring. 1. TVS is infamous for bad service quality and un-availability of parts. 2. Common issues in Ronin are: a. Chain noise, nothing major can be fixed by regular chain maintenance. Need to check wheel alignment and chain tension if not fixed after lubing. The chain cover makes chain maintenance a bit tedious. b. Headlight, low beam is weak and there is a tendency of one of the bulbs turning blue in colour. This can be replaced under warranty. I have replaced it twice, but again it has gone bad. c. Self Start, there have been multiple instances where bike won't start after being switched off at signal. Personally never faced this issue. d. Rear brake bite is insufficient. Does not give confidence. e. Bike feels Front heavy & Turning radius is big f. Struggles to go above 110 kmph Now the good things... 1. Mileage: 40+ in city, 45+ in highway... personally clocked 47km/L on highway full tank to full tank. 2. Suspension is very good for city and bad roads, comfortable. But feels a bit too soft on high speeds. Good ground clearance also. 3. Super light clutch and gear box, Shifts are also good 4. Engine is smooth and exhaust note is really good. 90-100 is the relaxed spot. Verdict: Good bike for first purchase. Easy to ride and learn. Will i recommend Ronin to a friend? No, mainly cause of bad service quality by TVS.

@niloymaity Agree with your views. Nonetheless, Ronin's riding comfort and value for money proposition in this segment is second to none. TVS customer care doesn't care for Customers for sure. Service and Spares availability varies from dealer to dealer.

This was an amazing review! Could not stop watching it. I recently moved to Bangalore from Mumbai and I was contemplating for a while as to which bike I should purchase. Initially I was looking at the Hunter 350 and CB 350, but then in May I came to know about the Speed 400 and waited for its launch. Now I am going to take the delivery of the vehicle this month end and your review has given me an amazing understanding of what I should expect out of the Speed 400. Also, you cracked me up at the part where you corrected your weight to 76 from 80 kilos 😅 Thank you! 🙏

Superb Review! You have covered what most reviewers don't say about vibrations and refinement and comparison to RE was excellent!! The simple fact remains that RE bikes are poorly engineered. Sure there is a character to the thump and looks, but you also need some kind of performance on highways. Loved your analysis, please make more comprehensive videos!

Bro, I discovered your vlog today and was amazed by the way you covered every aspect of what questions your audience has in mind. I came here after watching over 20+ reviews of Triumph Speed / Scrambler. Must say, all my doubts got cleared, except one. By far, I have been seriously considering Ninja 300 (only because of its engine and refined performance) but after watching so many reviews of Triumph have thought of giving it a second look. I wish to take the bike on 300-400 km tours over weekends and not for any city commute (its always WFH for me). I would like to hear your views about Ninja 300 as well and if you have done any such detailed review, please point me in that direction. Appreciate your time and advice.

I have to say this about Speed 400, it feels easy to ride but at the same time gives you the required power at a blink. I am a 5'4" guy and to be honest I needed an easily maneuverable bike. Speed 400 gave me exactly that. Thanks Bulu Da. Keep your videos coming. One day may be I will meet you.

I have also worked in Ladakh, and have ridden mostly RE bikes there, as well as I know that there are both local and official service centres for RE, especially in Leh. But… per your experience, what do you think I should consider in looking for service centres for Triumph? Is On Road Assistance effective enough?

S400 uncomfortable specially on wrists full of pain for me as well seat is narrow qnd moat un comfortable... Suspension is okay with slight stiff tune you feel the road. Very uncomfortable heat dispension and fan noise. Torque is beautiful so gearing is good.. Seat most uncomfy and bike looks tiny for my figure.. Am still waiting for scrambler 400 or i wil go with HD x440 which i fell in love after my test ride apart from slight narrower seat everything else is a pro

Bulu good review but I cannot imagine you saying it's not easy to take corners ...just see the opinion of the riders in the Valencia launch of the bike..everyone has said that its ability to take corners is extremely good..I would also like you to read the review of this bike on Cycle World.. although I do agree they ride on Metzelers so maybe there is a grip difference from the Indian spec tyres

Bro, can this bike be a daily rider, an every purpose bike, or should I keep a lower cc bike or scooter for that purpose?

If mileage is important then choose a lower cc bike or else speed 400 is the best bike for almost everything.
