Had all same experiences. Both positive and negative. I had purchased the bike after watching your initial review when you just purchased it and I loved it, as a first bike it's the best in terms of safety, power balance for learning and doing much more than that also. So many times I didn't see a pothole etc at 70 kmph and still felt safe. Most balanced bike for indian roads and all purposes as far as I can tell. thanks!

I cruise 85-90 I dont cross 90 at all. At 85 the bike do 6000rpm and 6250 at 90. Quite good. What I did was, I went for one teeth larger front sprocket. Now, my bike does 80at 5000rpm, 85at 5400rpm and 90below 6000rpm Even increase in top speed to 135. No vibes, no numbness....switched to liqui moly 10w60 offroad. Now goes like a charm. No bike comes perfect from the factory, u have to mke it suitable for u , doing some mods. Its imp to know, what are your requirements. A grt bike, grt value, and since I have a greater gear ratio I get 50kmpl on highway cruising. I recommended you to do this mod, and experience the magic. Thanks👍

In Nepal they're selling it for Nrs 3,85,000(97k IRs) for Carburettor version which is 65,000 more than Xtreme 200s(which sells for 3,20,000(IRs.97k) . Hero is already losing possible new costumers in a greed of raking in more profit.

@anand3033
@anand3033 5 жыл бұрын
USF Lifestyles if you don’t ride 250-300 km non stop daily, there is no need for using full synthetic. The 200cc hero engine has very low compression ratio and it runs fairly under stressed, for upto a few 100 km rides every month + daily city commutes you can very comfortably use the OE mineral oil from HeromotoCorp with 2-3month replacement intervals.

Nice trip and video Bulu bhai. I also ride an Xpulse and this front brake problem is a real concern. Whenever the bike hits a pothole or goes over a speed breaker, there is a mild buzz/vibration felt on the front brake lever and it becomes really hard and you just can't pull it in to apply the brake. To my shock, the service centre guys say it is a feature that the company has provided so that the rider doesn't by mistake press the brake lever when landing after a jump. Now that sounds like a crappy explanation because imagine in city traffic when you hit a pothole or jump a speed breaker and have to slowdown immediately because of an obstacle ahead, you realise that you have no front brake!! It is a fatal flaw. The service centre guys say all single-channel ABS bikes behave like this. I can only pray that HERO acknowledges this problem and fixes it ASAP. Also, regarding your observation on gearing, the Impulse had the same problem but I think it is not as severe in the Xpulse. And thanks for taking us through such beautiful landscapes and posting all the wonderful videos. Wish you many more miles of happiness ahead.

SIR JI, considering you are riding in Hilly roads (on road /off road) of Nepal 32 milage is good for 200 cc bike. The same bike in India surly gives around 45-50 milage. In Nepal roads are very curvy unlike in India roads are to straight wide and smooth.

I face the similar situation with the gear on my 2009 Yamaha Gladiator 125ss.... Since the Xpulse 200 is made for daily use in regular and bad roads, the gear ratios and the power is different from performance engines. But it all depends on the skills of the rider too. I have conqured Lake Gurudongmar in 2016 with my 2009 Yahmaha Gladiator 125ss, no issues.

Instead a Yamaha XTZ125cc will perform a lot better with 260mm of ground clearance and 118 kg of total bike weight including full tank of gasoline priced 4lakhs NPR... but Damm you did it with xpulse priced 3.44 lakhs .

Very wonderful Feedback bcoz you have used it for long off-road, hero main negative thing is head light at night time we Can't see proper, it's not focusing away at night time if u need focus of light, u should press Clutch n roll the accelerator for light .hero every bike have bad impact of head light. They Supposed to improve.

As the oxygen level at higher altitude becomes lower the bike develops lower power and bike exhibits difficulty in tackling steep climbs while in lower altitudes it doesn't exhibit so. This is my humble suggestion.

One important question which you didn't mention because you ride alone......Does the exhaust pipe bother the pillion......As far as I can see, the pipe will be within the pillions leg and you mentioned heating issues......If that's the condition this is only feasible as a solo bike.....Plz give insight on it
@BuluBiker

Hero ki iska bigger model nikalna chahiye 300cc or 400cc with more power and torque atleast 30ps and 26 n-m torque so we can Cruze easily with 110+ speed.

Bulu bhai, very interesting and informative video, I am thinking of selling my 5 year old 390 and buy the xpulse, i am ok with the lack of power as I also have bigger Kawasaki, kya bolte ho shall I jump ship? Planning a north sikkim ride and this sounds purrfect! I will rent it in blr and see if I like it, aapke videos dekh ke rent karne ki bhi zaroorat nahi hai 😀, great videos!! Much appreciated.
