Wow, nice. I've managed to get a triple pass at the nearby Brickyard Lane half barrier crossing just up the line from here.

@@UKLevelCrossingsChannel thing is though, this is my local crossing so I go here a lot. It’s fairly rare to get a quadruple closure but not as rare as other crossings in the UK

Brilliant video! Looks a good place to record as I bet the barriers are constantly up and down for the trams, as well as the trains when they arrive. Those trams do accelerate quickly!

I signal the area that covers this crossing, it is down every 6/8 minutes when the trams are running. Because of this, and it being a CCTV crossing, it is a nightmare for us signallers and loads of misuse!

@@benchamp It sounds quite interesting having both trains and trams to signal. Where is the crossing controlled from out of interest?

@@SouthEastLevelCrossings we only signal the trains, the trams are signalled by the NET guys. Their trams just activate the crossing which we then observe and clear. The crossing is controlled at the EMCC in Derby.
