Maybe you can print little QR codes and people can scan the qr code which would take them to your shop. would be easier to stick in there since they would be little squares rather than long rectangular ones. You’d still have to figure out the kiss-cut on the cricut but adhearing the stickers would be alot faster.

Hairdresser here... what you’re talking about is a root smudge... it stretches your natural further down and blurs the line of demarcation. BUT, honestly, I would advise you to just let your roots grow in for a while. Apply your pink regularly all over to freshen up... hair strands grow at different rates so you may naturally achieve a better blur as you grow (especially with fine hair)... give it a while... you can also do a color melt... mix a formula for the roots that’s a bit darker, and a second for the ends that’s your usual bright candy pink and just blend the two formulas gently where they meet.

The back doesn't grow faster. It does get longer faster due to breakage in the front though. But growth is the same. And cutting it doesn't affect how fast the roots grow out, so that is irrelevant.

I had this but with silver hair instead of a color. My natural hair color is pretty similar to Baylees (a "dirty blonde" color). It looked pretty good when my hair was longer (past shoulder length) but when I cut it shorter I felt like my natural color took up too much space and I just didnt like the look as much. It really did help cut down times between needing to bleach my hair though.

I recently ordered some custom washi from a shop and it had the label inside the roll like you did and I had never seen that before but really liked it. I definitely say yes to adding the stickers inside! It's unique and helps people know where their washi comes from like you said. Plus, much less plastic waste than the other method with the plastic wrap and circle sticker.

I feel like if you just used a mini sticker of the Baylee Face that would be enough for people to know where they got the washi? But that could have been what you meant by the "Bayle Jae" logo. I also think you'd be able to get more faces printed per page so you'd get them done faster!

just throwing in my two cents on the hair topic: i had a pixie cut that ive been growing out for a year and was completely bleached and dyed blue and i found that just applying the color over my roots as well darkened them up to a deep brown and helped the grow out look better! it may be worth using a darker pink dye over your roots while they grow out and blend it with the light pink you currently use or i guess you could use dye instead of the overtone. ive had a great experience with a dye brand called lunar tides :) just throwing some ideas around

I have a brown/ natural color to blonde balayage. A good way to start is have the stylist try and match your roots and ask for shadow roots and have that be where you start growing out your balayage. Yeah. Or just go in be like I want the light to start here and have my natural color or whatever color from root to there. Usually for shorter hair, like an inch above the top of the ear looks best. The technique of balayage is working from the ends to the root with lightener with flicking motions like blending with copics! ❤️ it’s so much easier to take care of than straight dying. I don’t think I’ll ever go back.

Hey Baylee! Not sure if you care enough to try, but have you considered just making a bunch of small 0.5 inch circles/ squares in the cricut design menu to test out cut settings on one sheet instead testing directly with the printed stickers? It's what I usually do when I try out a new material! I also use the "custom material" settings exclusively. My paper is most likely different from yours (I use the amazon basics paper for my labels), but I use cut pressure 135 on default pressure for my kiss cuts! If you add a new custom material, you can lower the blade pressure down to 100. Hope this helps! I love your artwork!

I have various washi tapes they all come with round stickers but some of them come with their logo in the inner circle of the washi tube inside. So far I've never gotten one with their logo/ signature as part of the washi design. Maybe you can design your signature into a pattern such that it kind of blend in with the design? But I do like the logo in the inner tube idea for once we open the washi tape, the round stickers is just gone lolol

Maybe the vellum setting or crepe paper settings will work! I cant wait to buy the washi! Dont give up! Especially since you want to brand them. Here's a tip I use to remove your cuts from the mat so you don't ruin your project scraping. Grab your mat and slowly roll/bend it with paper facing the outside/upward on your mat. It will start popping off. If your cuts have negative space peel that off first then roll mat to make removal easier. Sometimes you have to gently grab the piece that's popping off while bending. That way it has some tension to come off easier.

Too late now but if you make a small circle to be cut, you can test cut depth without wasting your time or materials, you can also make custom cut depths if you go to manage custom materials in the side menus, I use photo paper direct’s glossy paper and sticky note works for me but like you said, your blade is probably sharper. Another thing is that if you press the pause button mid-cut you can turn on fast mode.

For the washi tape you could try use for example like Avery labels that come with 80/sheet and they're 1/2 inch by 1 3/4 inch and just set them up on the website and print them (that's if it's more cost effective and also if you still like the idea of putting the label on the inside) personally I'd prefer them on the inside rather than incorporated into the design of the tape but that's just my opinion! Love the vlogs!! So sad the washi tape branding ideas didn't go so well... Dammit Carol... In regards to your hair-dyeing, I've found that dye sticks better to clean dry hair (and bleach 'should' be done on greasy hair to avoid as much damage, though olaplex, etc helps too). As for the balayage thing, it takes QUITE a while to grow out roots so that they're not a straight line (about 6 months to a year... depending kn rate of hair growth). But then, if you decided after growing out your roots, that you want full pink/blonde again, it is a b*tch to bleach the roots evenly when they're so long and uneven (I know this from personal experience). Either way, it's your decision, obvs. As long as you're only bleaching your roots each time, it doesn't damage the rest of your hair, no matter how often you do it, and bleaching/dyeing is quicker when there's less to do. Sorry for the essay... Have a great day!!
