I think you should definitely raise your button set prices Baylee! $5 is ridiculously cheap considering the amount of time and effort you put into making them. You also put a lot of thoughts into the packaging and design as well. If the prices would be higher people would still buy them anyway because they are very good quality! Don't underprice yourself and your amazing art! Who else agrees?

I totally agree! I'd sell them for at least $10 personally, probably $12 if I think about it more.. I generally sell my pins for $2 each or 3 for $5.

Yes I am another who think she has underpriced her buttons, I’m not sure about $12 each but a packet for $8 to $10 much more reasonable for everyone.

Just a though for your headers: instead of printing the colored background, buy some colored paper and just print the detail. Just a thought to save some of your ink.

When I w as in the 5th grade, the cooler older kids got to make buttons. I was so wanting to make buttons. I saw them with the button machine and it looked so fun and cool. I never ever got to make a button, and I was way to scared to ask if I could do one. To this day, I have never made a button. Funny how childhood crap comes back at the strangest times. Oh, and cute cool buttons. Awesome.

Hey I know this comment is really old, but I thought I'd add in case anyone else comes across this video for an answer: Basically fan art is a grey area. It is technically illegal because you are not the owner of the character/series/whatever. All fanart is illegal, even if you don't sell it. However! A lot of companies realize the good that comes from letting people draw and sell fanart. It's basically free advertisement! It helps get people watching the show if they fall in love with someone's fan art, it helps promote the show, grows the audience, and is just a nice way to let fans show their appreciation for the original subject matter. So many companies let artists sell fanart because of the good that comes from it. Before drawing and selling fanart though it's always a good idea to check if that company allows it. Things like Undertale, Homestuck, and even Disney are extremely against fanart. If you are selling fanart online and a company doesn't want you to sell it then usually you get a cease and desist letter. If you're selling on Etsy or Redbubble your listing will just be taken down and you'll be told why. So it's nothing too serious. However if you are a repeat offender then you can get your account shut down, or worse, it is in the company's right to sue you. TLDR; Do your research before drawing and selling fanart, but generally it's okay. Many companies don't mind, but if they do mind they will send you a letter telling you to stop. As long as you stop you won't get sued.

Is that photoshop you are using? If you are, there is a 'proof setup' which you find under view where you can simulate how your colors will look printed. In the proof setup you choose your papers profile to simulate on your screen. But this works best if your screens are calibrated though ^__^

Lps Chick She only sells buttons at conventions I think. It would be too much to individually package her buttons and print off addresses to ship them herself. You can buy other art forms from her online stop though.
