맞아요 트릭스님 가치에 비하면 50억도 적은 돈이죠 세계 최고의 실력자들은 그에 맞는 대접을 받아야 그 장르가 더 커질 수 있다고 생각해요 그래야 춤에 대한 이미지가 더 발전할 수 있어요 ㅎㅎ 더 이상 춤 춰도 힘들게 살지 않는다고 인식이되면 많은 사람들이 춤에 더 관심을 가지고 장르로 유입이 되면서 정말 멋진 하나의 직업으로 받아들여질거에요 자랑스러운 트릭스님 넉스님!! 영원히 응원합니다

This interview is really great so here's the TLDR. Loose translations and I paraphrased but whatever here goes. Feel free to correct me if you want, long sentences are so tiring and I'm a busy woman lol 1) Last year Krump was introduced/recognised by the public. Thoughts? T: Because of SMF the public got to know of the underground/streetdance scene more so we're thankful for it 2) What kind of dance is "Krump"? K: It is a streetdance genre originally started in the late 90s. It's intense and powerful but to me it's very emotional and free. Not only that, there's skills like tricks using the shoe and hat which we use in battle culture that and we were able to show it in a special way 3) What does the nickname that you promote with means? T: In Krump there are a lot of tricks like hat, shoe and tshirt tricks. I liked them so my teacher asked what I think of the name "TRIX" and that's how I started using the name. K: Knucks is like a short form of "knuckles". It's also because he always "knockout/KO" people so it became "Knucks" 4) How was it when you won the 2018 World Krump battle? T: It was his greatest goal and he achieved it. Upon reflection it felt miserable because of income etc. He thought of stopping dance but because it was something that he really likes and is good at, he felt that he should just keep doing it and people/interest will come. 5) Was there any opposition from your parents when you started dancing? K: While he was studying, at some point he wondered if there was something I could do. [Something about it also helps with his inner self and if that's the case why should he stop doing it?.] T: At first his mum was against him dancing in general, but she has accepted it a lot more later [RIP eomeonim]. His dad said "if it's something that you like, go and do it". 6) You did a girlgroup-idol song choreo it became a hot topic. Thoughts? [I'm too jealous to hear Trix talk about NewJeans] but basically he said they did it because the fans like it and for fun. 7) What are your new year dreams? T: Not a joke, but I want to earn 5 billion this year, have 500 000 followers on my sns. I also want to be world champion and fly the Korean flag once more K: He wants to be steadfast(?) in the dance path so that more sides and charm of dance can be shown. FIGHTING EVERYONE!! 💙
