I bought some of the real ones for my daughter's birthday a few years ago and they were... a little disappointing. Most of the balloons filled, but there were at least a few on each bundle that were broken. There weren't that many balloons, so the kids went through them quickly, then I had little rubber pieces to pick up. This year, I decided against water balloons and just crocheted reusable balloons. The kids loved throwing them at one another, they never ran out, and there were no balloon bits to clean up afterward!

Apparently when using a hose, you can control the regulation of water using something called a "tap". Hope this helps.

You need to fill them over a bucket so gravity doesn't take over. We use these at daycare and they are a billion times better than individually filling hundreds of water balloons.

What I learned here is Mike has a quick connect hose and it's not compatible with the balloon thing. Also I'm slightly worried because you have a bunch of electrical hookups right next to your hose spout. That seems dangerous.

Every time Mike uses a hose I just sit here telling my screen that he needs to turn the water off first. Also, I've used these things, and I don't know about the knockoff brand, but the regular ones work fine so long as you fill them slowly and have a tub ready to catch them.

Used these (well product like it) before, they were meh. you gotta float them in like bowl or bucket that's like half way filled with water, so they don't pop off prematurely, and somehow seal them against the faucet or whatever. They are still gonna be kinda small and not great, but it does save you a bit of time if you are doing water balloon fight, and only have the one hose/faucet. Great for saving like 10 minutes of preparing the balloons, and if you suck at tying off balloons. That said using them requires about same amount of learning and skill as tying off a balloon. 6.5/10 solves an actual problem, but you gotta work around different set of problems so it's meh. Great if you need a lot of balloons fast, but realistically you don't really need more than 12 or so, cause you can only carry so many around without them popping.

You did it wrong but they are bad either way. You are supposed to fill them using a tap or hose in a water bucket with water in it so it can take shape and pull off easy. Even if you do it the right way most of them will be under filled that they just hurt you more then they would pop. These are a good idea just done so badly.
