There are few clubs that Marc White is more familiar with than Worthing F.C. Partly because the sides have met dozens of times over the years, and also because four of his ex-players are now plying their trade at Dorking's promotion rivals from the south coast.
So a Boxing Day clash, against a side that plays a similar system, promises to be a blockbuster event.

On the red cards, As for Briggs, it was blatant and scummy and he obviously deserved his red and the suspension that comes along with it. Absolutely lost his head and seriously endangered the Worthing player. Then onto Cashman. It was sly and scummy from Cashman and he should have seen red for his elbow on Camp. Following on, he should've been given a second yellow for when clearly decided to go for the man over ball and smashing into McManus despite the ball clearly still being there to be won. Very, very lucky to not be on the same suspension that Briggs has despite clearly deserving it.

Been looking forward to this one as I was at the game. Finding the comments interesting because people can be so certain about how the entire game played out from a few minutes of KZbin highlights. The referee was honestly not that bad at all. Dorking red card was obvious instantly, but didn't have a good viewpoint of the Worthing incident. Watching now, it could have been a red card, but I think the Worthing player was pretty sneaky and if the officials didn't see it, what can you do? Was plenty of niggle in the game, and was probably tough to manage at times, but I didn't come away thinking the referee was poor, or out of her depth at all.

Playing on for the goal was fair game. Elbow was sly should have been a red. Pen was soft as shite. The shove into the board was shocking in my opinion I think that warranty an extended ban. No idea what the fuck some people are on defending that.

Referee was very poor, some key decisions weren’t dealt with correctly and it seemed more because of her ego than anything else. Annoyingly, Marks ability to talk honestly to the officials probably worked against him as you could tell there was negative attitude towards him from the Ref and 4th. Not even wanting to listen is very poor officiating.

Referee does everything right in terms of giving herself time to think about, seeing the injury but doesn't ask for any assistance then only hands out a caution; incredibly poor decision, the definition of bottling it unfortunately.

I completely disagree with all the comments. The referee was of the highest standard. Surprisingly, she was the best referee I have ever seen. She handled extremely challenging incidents, and she managed all of them correctly. Very well done to the referee! Keep up the great work!

She let the game get out of hand by letting the Worthing player elbow the Dorking player. Has to be red every day of the week. The same guy should have had a second yellow second half as well. So no she was shocking and played a part in the players losing their heads and endangering each other.
