today I will make an ecoprint, using flowers that are around my house, so many flowers around the house, so I will use a bundle ecoprint technique to make beautiful motifs on fabrics
there are so many types of plants that can be used for ecoprints, because every plant has tannins, the richer the tannins, the better the motifs will be.
and actually the most important thing is how we extract the plants to fabric, therefore, to attract tannins to stick to fabric we must know how to treat fabric and plants
Usually the process that most affects the ecoprint results is the pre mordant or scouring process, followed by the mordant process

here I will use a wood to roll up the ecoprint bundle, I use cassava branches, you can use anything actually, maybe you can use a pipe, the important thing is to roll the fabric
this is a material that I have scouring and mordant, slightly yellowish due to oxidation. I use a variety of blends to make the fabric ready to accept the color from the plant tannins. I do exploration continuously until I can find the right recipe, and it takes a long time of course
then we arrange the flowers and leaves on the cloth according to the pattern you want, I will place it in the middle and then wrap it with cloth on the edges
then we prepare the plastic, to wrap it, actually this is optional, but I recommend that you use it to get a good pattern
so the layers are, first cloth, then flowers or leaves, then plastic, after that roll it.
Roll the fabric with the wood that have prepared earlier. Roll tightly, make sure the roll is neat,
then the last is to tie it using a rope, you can use various types of rope.
and this is the most stressful part of the whole process, because each result will definitely not be the same, I was very surprised, this is very beautiful, although there may be some empty space because the flowers are shifted, but this is very amazing.
then we have to wait all day before the cloth is ready for washing and color fixation. and the fixation process also determines the final color of this ecoprint technique.
