I was wondering if you could help me with the name of two inns/hotels? The first is the one that used to be opposite the Astoria Ballroom (at least I think it was an inn from memories of being there as a child) The other was beside kfc, I think the space is now occupied by a nursing home. I can vaguely remember it's logo involving a rooster on its signage? Any help would be great

O'Gormans Arms Hotel, Single Street, run by Frankie O'Gorman, use to have bingo "Crazy night Crazy". Demolished and is vacant land. Reopening of the Western Rail Corridor would bring back trains to part of the West and North West of course to cut down on Car Accidents, Road Deaths, Traffic Jams and Pollution of course it's all getting worse not better it can't last forever of course.

Around 5.29mins in, Atlantic point apartments was not constructed till 1999 2000. By November 1998 Phil O'Connell's house & horse stables & Jim Daly's house were demolished to make way for apartments.
