Bungie is Missing the Point...TWAB Read with Reactions!

In today's video, I broke down this week's TWID/TWAB. This article had a ton of information regarding the crucible. It detailed loot changes like the addition of artifice armor into comp and non-flawless adept weapons. Further updates to trials such as the addition of the Passage of Persistence were cool changes as well. Otherwise, a lot of the information was old news. Either way, I broke it all down in today's vid.

Each matchmaking ssystem has its place and time. You can't just look at every matchmaking system that isnt CBMM and call it bad. Large Skill-rang (CBMM) belongs in party modes like Relic Medium skill-range (Outlier-Protec) belongs in IronBanner Low skill-range (loose-skill) is replaced with Rank-based Rank-based belongs in Trials and Comp Previously they didnt give each mode the correct matchmaking systems and now they will. There is literally nothing to complain about here. If you actually just read and comprehend the patch you'd find that we are being promised exactly what we need, and the points you are whining about it have already been addressed.

Rank based matchmaking doesn’t belong in trials and isn’t being implemented there. Otherwise the stuff they talked about was old news. We already knew what the matchmaking setup was for the game and they didn’t address queue times, connections, people leaving mid game, or cheaters. Those are the pressing issues to me

They did, they said why queue times are long, explained the mechanics and metrics and told you why things are done the way they are done. The only things they didn't touch on are cheating and third party inputs. People leave mid game doesn't need to be explained any further, we all know why people leave, if you don't then you haven't been paying attention. If game is unfun people will leave. Simple as that. They are fixing the reasons for people leaving and fixing the reasons no one plays PvP this will naturally result in queue times going down and less leavers. They literally talked about connections in the discussion about MM mechanics, you skimmed over it clearly and seem to either not believe what they said or you can't read well. There was also a ban wave recently, they've been suing cheat makers left and right and also said that they have more updates coming the closer we get to March and May. @@FraDestiny

@@visored13 The comments they made on queue times and connections were vague. They didn’t say what they were doing to improve them. Obviously increased player counts will help both but adding in more game modes is further dividing the player base which offsets any gain in players. Ultimately, they avoided talking about the matchmaking experiences for players on the extreme end of the skill brackets which is what I wanted to hear more about. And the reason is probably that they have no clear solution and don’t know what to do

Yes other influencers comment on these TWIDS etc. I subscribe to two or more that do. I don't ever do PVP, but I think it's wrong that the DEV change aspects that make it harder or is unfair for the players.

They will never truly give you what you want because if they ever do and you get what your goal is or what you're wanting to achieve you'll lose interest and stop playing

I definitely want the sandbox and matchmaking to be a certain way but I don’t want it to be that way permanently. I like that they are always mixing stuff up. So yeah there is some truth to what you are saying

If they give the player what they want (Changes to the stale formula of Destiny), they'll get what they want and lose interest in playing (A better version of Destiny). Sorry bro but you aren't making sense. If Destiny was an objectively better game it would retain more players. I've got 3k+ hours and know very well changes need to be made if this game wants to save itself. The player counts are terrible right now because the game is boring, the formula hasn't changed for years. They should never have sunset seasons or vaulted old content, biggest self nerf ever. People don't have unreal expectations. We want cheater free PvP and new maps occcasionally. For PvE new areas, enemies, quests etc. What we're given in the bare minimum.

The 2 head one body works on most resiliences. Plus if you run precision instrument you’ll be able to hit it even more often

It is their game, so I’d like to see them take more action and address the pressing issues rather than spend so much time explaining matchmaking and game mode changes
