They've made some pretty big mistakes in the past. But, I honestly don't see them being any "greedier" than most other game developers.

I understand to a degree, but.. it's a free to play game. What do you want this game to keep running off of? Hopes and dreams? They need to release things that will get them money to fund this game AND their future endeavours. If they didn't sell, they wouldn't do it.

@@ButtyG This is true. Actually, it seems like they won't be charging at all for these expansions and updates going forward. They only mentioned charging for the rewards pass.

@GeekMediaCentral Yeah which is a step in the right direction! Hope they keep it up and do things that help sustain the game without attempting to sell us anything and everything.

Past time to abandon Bungie.

I'm still very hopeful. I'll try to temper expectations.

All I see is FOMO, bungle knows how to get the sheep (cough cough) sorry, players back by releasing exotic guns (icebreaker) and crap looking armor from the art work but players come back because of FOMO. dont forget, over the last 10 years bungle released paid expansions and maybe 3 of those were worth the cost but boy they would put really good looking armor in the store for you to buy......

Yeah, their track record isn't the best. But, how do you feel about all the updates next year being free? It seems like only the reward pass is monetized.

I feel like it is. But, I also know this is just words on a dev blog so far. We'll need to see actual execution of these ideas before people come back with a positive outlook.
