That is a special pasta called far far or fryum and is made from dry potato starch and/or tapioca and/or wheat and/or rice and/or taro. I am not sure regular wheat pasta will work (varies by locality). You can phone a local South Asian grocery store and ask if they sell bags of them uncooked. They are also called Bobby.
